Lawrence poisonous, hateful, pathological lies is showing all over his face

not a single criminal allegations against Trump qualifies as a crime in a normal and honest justice system ,so all this will boil down to a corrupted government , justice and a media system ,brainwashing the people with lies ,which means when winning the 2024 election increased illegal immigration ,higher inflation and taxes ,out of control crimes and drug addiction vs. a Trump win " MAKE USA GREAT AGAIN" by building the border wall, put criminals in jail ,restoring domestic oil production and eliminating a very dangerous socialistic system

I am amazed by the number of negative comments about Trump on this forum. It is at least 10 to 1 negative versus supportive or in favor of anything Trump has said or done. I am encouraged that the general public seems to be in favor of Trumps' prosecution. I am hoping that the phrase "no one is above the law" will be borne out in Trump's trial and prosecution.

Why has no one lodged an ethics complaint against Lauro? Rule 3.6 of the New York State Rules of Professional Conduct expressly forbids a lawyer from making an extrajudicial statement that will be likely to prejudice a jury. Since Lauro is lying about the content of the indictment, his presentation of the case as a First Amendment issue seems to me to be in direct violation of Rule 3.6.

Everyone is entitled to legal council regardless of innocence or guilt and no one is guilty until the foreman of the jury give the verdict that has been reached. On that basis alone legal council cannot be barred from practicing for who ever they represent. To do so gives too much power to one side and when politics is involved the first amendment protects political speech because only in an authoritarian state can there be only one opinion. If we take away this right no one has the right to defend themselves which would mean that even those who currently disagree with Republican/Trump party policy will at some point find themselves guilty of crimes against the state and face a lifetime in prison. This is why we have elections and this is why this decision should be left in the hands of the electorate.

Rep. Dean: Trump ‘Lit The Match’ That Caused The Capitol Hill Riots | Andrea Mitchell | MSNBC

Published

on

By

Congresswoman and impeachment manager Madeleine Dean (D-PA) tells Andrea Mitchell that President Trump “lit the match,” causing the riots at the Capitol on January 6. Dean also pushed back on the notion that impeaching a former president is unconstitutional. “And we do know, number one, it is constitutional because the text of the constitution is not just about removal as a result of impeachment and conviction but also future disqualification. The framers knew very much the threat of mobs and demagogues,” she said. Aired on 01/25/2021.

Sen. Murphy: Proposed Relief Bill ‘Could Get Us Through What Could Be A Very Hard And Deadly Winter’

Published

on

By

Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss the proposal of a $908 billion COVID relief bill by a bipartisan group of senators as 14 million Americans could lose unemployment aid by the end of December. Sen. Murphy says, “This amount of money could get us through what could be a very hard and deadly winter. This isn’t big enough to be able to get us to the point where the entire country is vaccinated. But it might be enough to make sure that millions of Americans don’t go hungry, don’t starve, don’t die out on the streets this winter when their jobless benefits expire and when protections for evictions expire.” Aired on 12/01/2020.

‘ERODING our democracy’: Morning Joe reacts to SHOCKING NYT Editorial on Trump’s election meddling

Published

on

By

The New York Times editorial board is out with a new series tracking 12 categories of democratic erosion in the United States, highlighting the “worrisome steps” it says President Trump has taken toward undermining American democracy. Measuring on a scale from zero to 10 — with zero representing a strong, though imperfect, democracy and 10 representing a true autocracy — the board has moved one category, “manipulating the law to stay in power,” up to Level 3. The Morning Joe panel breaks down the ominous warnings from the piece as the country heads toward the November midterms and the 2028 election.
