ALCHETIPO: Fractured Elegance for F/W 26-27 | Milan Fashion Week, Off-Calendar

Published

Step inside Alchetipo’s distorted ritual and witness tailoring unravel into raw emotion on FashionTV!

Explore the fall/winter 26/27 collection and reserve your front-row view to a ceremony stitched to break at Lineapelle Designers Edition during Milan Fashion Week. Fashion has long served as a stage for human emotion, but few collections capture the volatile tension of love and expectation quite like Alchetipo’s newest 2026/27 runway show, presented in collaboration with Lineapelle Designers Edition.

Entitled “A Ceremony Stitched To Break,” the collection transforms the runway into an imploding ritual. Classic Italian tailoring – the very symbol of restraint and decorum – is bruised, pierced, and exposed. By juxtaposing fluid 100% Made in Italy wools, glitch-printed Prince of Wales patterns, and structural calfskin, Alchetipo crafts garments that mimic the emotional weight of a crumbling union.

Steel razor-sharp bow ties, multi-layered knot jewelry by Aura Florentia, and forbidden thistle blooms hidden in lapels serve as silent confessions under the runway lights. It is a striking exploration of beauty bound by friction, where every stitch holds the threat of coming undone.

INSTITUTION BY GALIB GASSANOFF: Wearable Sculptures for S/S 27 | Copenhagen Fashion Week

Published

on

See how traditional craft meets modern design in the spring/summer 2027 show of Institution by Galib Gassanoff on FashionTV!

Established by Galib Gassanoff as a deeply personal exploration of aesthetic belonging and cultural heritage, Institution operates as a social-artistic organization with an ethical foundation that extends far beyond traditional fashion.

The project’s name reflects its underlying purpose: an institution as a humanly devised structure of rules and norms that shapes individual behavior, built upon persistence and continuity.

For its debut S/S 2027 collection presented during Copenhagen Fashion Week, Institution transformed its venue into an intimate art gallery space, where garments were presented on walls like fine artworks to highlight their intricate construction and craftsmanship.

With most pieces cut and tailored by Gassanoff himself, each garment is conceived as a collectible, exhibitable object. Sourced exclusively from the deadstock of high-end producers, the collection utilizes natural silk, cotton, wool, and leather to ensure strict limited availability.

Rooted in preservation, the debut highlights a signature hand-weaving technique from Galib’s Azerbaijani community in Georgia – thoughtfully replacing traditional wool threads with cotton shoelaces to safeguard a fading heritage craft.

DANA ALMULLA: Poetry in Stone & Silk for F/W 26-27 | Paris Haute Couture Week, Off-Calendar

Published

on

Press play on pure elegance – watch Dana AlMulla’s fall/winter 2026-27 show on FashionTV!

Presented as an off-calendar showcase during Paris Haute Couture Week F/W 26–27, Qatari designer Dana AlMulla unveiled her collection titled “Echoes of Timeless Art.” Standing at the intersection of cultural heritage and international haute couture, the collection translates classic Islamic architectural forms into a modern, sculptural wardrobe. The runway presented a dialogue between structure and fluidity. Defined lines, curved volumes, and sculpted silhouettes evocative of vaulted domes and intricate ceilings were balanced by soft floral motifs and organic drapery.

A refined color palette – spanning warm beige, delicate blush, deep ocean blue, and luminous yellow – interplayed with light and depth across every look. AlMulla’s off-calendar show reaffirmed the growing influence of Arab couturiers in Paris, offering a quiet, disciplined harmony between historical memory and contemporary atelier craftsmanship.

EGONLAB FINDS GRACE IN CHAOS for S/S 27 | Paris Men Fashion Week

Published

on

Enjoy the serene vision of Egonlab for spring/summer 2027 on FashionTV!

Presented on June 24th during Paris Fashion Week, Egonlab’s newest collection – titled Ataraxia – confronts an uncertain world with a serene message of unity, hope, and individuality. Creative directors Florentin Glemarec and Kevin Nompeix transform the runway into an alternative reality where clothing acts as a protective ally and a banner of personal expression.

Drawing inspiration from early-2000s digital liminal spaces, the duo reinterprets these infinite labyrinths into canvas-like zones of endless transformation where past, present, and future merge.

The S/S 27 lineup plays heavily with illusion and weightlessness. Signature tailoring is stripped of internal bulk, allowing light, unlined blazers to fit like a second skin while tucked firmly into waistlines for a structured silhouette.

Subtle trompe-l’oeil details run throughout, from denim jackets with poplin collar linings to track jackets revealing phantom T-shirt hems. Softening their sharp edges, the brand introduces its own spin on “Coquette Core” through midnight sleepwear-inspired pieces, silk shirts hand-trimmed with Swarovski crystals, and bow-tied satin caps.

Complex embossing, interrupted tear-effect denim, and surrealist frame-necklaces further emphasize the house’s focus on high craft. Rounding out the presentation, Egonlab unveiled a gender-fluid collaboration with Eastpak.

Reinterpreting street utility through elevated silhouettes, the capsule features small and large tote bags along with mini belt packs crafted in custom YD Check and sleek faux leather.
