The Bank of England holds rates but warns policy may need to tighten if the war persists, with Governor Andrew Bailey saying rates may have to rise if volatility continues. Markets also assess a potential delay to US tariffs.
At a Royal AI summit, King Charles calls for urgent AI safety guardrails, while Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says AI safety is paramount and supports stronger testing. Huawei accelerates the launch of a new AI chip as the global race for advanced AI technology intensifies.
Turkey takes steps to stem a market rout, including arrests and restrictions as authorities investigate outflows from Turkish asset managers. The US is set to sell Saudi Arabia F-35 fighter jets in a $24.3 billion deal, while Israel and Morocco agree to deepen ties.
Across Africa, Ethiopia’s securities exchange approves 11 new listings, beginning with a company in the financial services sector. Airtel Money is said to be considering a smaller IPO, Zimbabwe advances an IMF staff-level agreement, and Botswana says De Beers’ investment remains sound.

So crazy how all of the older people are the ones who are afraid of work from home, is it because they grew up in a physical environment without any virtual communication. Cuz I know for more 30 or younger people virtual is more productive and more creative way of communication. Just look at the world we've created the most popular things we know are mostly virtual. Most companies that code software do it virtually which is one of the most creative things you could probably do in this. modern era

C19 virus is cumulative and permanently stay at human body's T-Cell then cause it malfunction to replicate, destroy and spread even you have fully recovered or fully vaccinated. Currently vaccine is incompetent due to vaccine maker adjust to be safe, so the victims rate is drop after vaccination. Litigation is applicable now after politicians fully approve the vaccine. This is great liberty status evolution. A lot of people having long term serious reaction even death in vaccination before, and the politicians still do not want to tell the truth.
