http://www.FashionTV.com/videos RIO DE JANEIRO – Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch is a designer that showcases his collections in Sao Paulo, New York, AND Rio de Janeiro, and still finds time to add something incredibly special to each and every runway show and line, without much time in between. For Spring/Summer 2013 at Fashion Rio, he was inspired by a photo series called “The American West” by Richard Avedon, featuring coal mine and oil field workers from the 1970s and 80s. He uses this theme well, without lacking in the wearability department — customers will actually wear his clothes, rather than simply gawk at them. There’s a lot of denim here (obviously its a Herchcovitch speciality) which appears in dresses, rompers, and more and the tie dye is also apparent.
