   Terrible reporting There have been too many applalling moments misreporting events by CNN, NYT, MSNBC I understand everyone is grappling and coping with the harm to both sides but that was poor reporting and there should be a public appology. We have to say also tat the stuggles for safety and power in that mideast has different views but attacking women children and babies on the sabbath? That's evil. Yelling Allah Akbar while committing attacity as if repeating the moral errors of the crusades? Moses said not to take the name of the Lord in vain… but .. that's what it is.

    Well done, MSNBC, for giving us a peak behind the curtain. I think we might be seeing the early, on-the-ground efforts of the fight against disinformation; what we need to be mindful of, however, is that there's actually a push against those who would counter disinformation disguised as an effort to "protect free speech". In other words, some people want to be able to spread propaganda freely, without inhibition, and are coming after those who would provide a bulwark against their agenda. The Big Lie is not over.

    Funny that MSNBC didn't try to lift the "fog of war" before it parroted Hamas' false claim that hundreds of Palestinian civilians were killed by an Israel air strike on a hospital. An upright apology and correction to its report would have better served MSNBC's credibility than this joke of a piece that attempts to gain credibility, coincidentally, three days after its false report.

    Separating what is actually happening in the real world vs what is being shown on social media has to be an incredibly tough job (even with AI). I hope he gets paid accordingly, because his job is just too important.

    OK, Eric. Here’s one for you to verify. A photo of a girl in Gaza holding a cat in front of a rubble pile closed NBC Nightly News last night. My Israeli-American friends claim it was staged to gain sympathy, not photojournalism. Where did NBC acquire that image?
