President Trump launched the U.S. into a new trade war with Canada, imposing 50% tariffs on $20 billion worth of Canadian goods. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Trump wants Canada to “negotiate in good faith.” In response, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada was at war with the U.S. and lamented that “America has changed” and promised “dollar for dollar” retaliation. He is continuing to take Hillary‘s advice that she gave Joe Biden prior to the election which was not to concede. As Democrats we want all votes to count and in many states all votes have not been counted. Some states have not even started counting military votes. In some states have recounts have not been completed.
Democrats we must cooperate and be transparent to remove any cloud of boat fraud from this new administration.
