Hearing about the loss of this great journalist was a devastating blow. Whenever he was reporting, I knew I was hearing the voice of reason and truth. Chris was also the best friend of one of my best friends. There was never a more authentic, loving and intelligent person … so inspiring and admirable. R.I.P.

I am in shock. I watched him on The World this week on France 24 every week. When he was not on the show it lacked punch. I loved his sarcastic and funny comments. Intelligent, witty and a consummate journalist, this is a real loss for those who admire honest, frank journalism.

‘STAGGERING’: Joe SLAMS Trump over stock trades reporting

Published

on

By

President Trump has made more stock trades than all members of Congress combined since returning to office. That’s according to a Bloomberg review of financial disclosures. Bloomberg reports that Trump and his money managers made more than 28,000 trades in the 17 months between his second inauguration and June of this year. That compares with about 22,000 trades reported by members of Congress. The numbers come as Republicans push a ban on congressional stock trading, but the legislation does not apply to the president. The Morning Joe panel discusses the latest reporting.
