As someone who grew up in a post 9/11 world, I was honestly surprised the words terrorist and Islamist weren't used once in a news report about a hostage crisis in a Muslim country.

The hostages back then were ab rely fed. The hostages today looked like they were well fed which made me wonder if they’d been hostages at all or just another excuse for Biden / Obama to give Iranians even more billions than they already have

& the bootlick of Khomeiny's babooshes Sadegh Ghotbzadeh
who viciously vilified America & was rewarded by becoming
Khomeiny's adopted son & the Islamic republic FM.
Until Khomeiny rewarded him again with execution.
Remember him as the one who howled "Canada shall pay !"
for Canada helping some US diplomats escape Khomeiny's filthy thugs.

Well, when you support bastard mullahs to take over the power in a glorious country such as Iran and replace your best ally The Shah with them, it is not unexpected this retarded mullahs betray you.
And hostage taking is the cost Carter as president imposed on the US people.

Iran had so much violence and upheaval in the weeks leading up to the Embassy takeover, I am surprised that the Americans were not evacuated from the country sooner. Then there was outrage when we found out arms had been traded for hostages, but at least they were finally free.

Speaking in the Oval Office two days ahead of the planned address, Trump affirmed the speech would focus on elections and a “couple of other things.”

Officials said the speech is still being finalized, but Trump was expected to discuss several topics. He’s still deeply mired in his conflict with , with nightly strikes in the country as he seeks a path to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Even as that war appears to be restarting, however, Trump framed the elections portion of his Thursday speech as the centerpiece.
