Snort! American companies are full of shit when they say they can't decouple from China. They most certainly can and you should simply give them no other choice.

China is the longest continuously unbroken central government in the world. China has already Mongol, Manchurian, 8-alliance Western nations (plus Japan) during the colonial/imperial age for the last 5,000 years, China will likely survive for another 5,000 years.
She has one of the most extensive and earliest records archives of its history, hence China have a very long term memory.
Therefore, don't go too far against China for she will return the same favor regardless what distant future they're in…

One hand is used to control chips to enter China; another hand is to block high tech environmental electric car to enter into US.

American politicians are doing everything they can to cause American companies to lose the chinese 1.4 billion people market and lose global market shear due to our stupid wars and sanctions.we have lost Russia, african, the middle east, latin America, most of Asia the carrabbean and even Europe to china as world largest trading partner. After we lose the dollar as global currency and America is a third world poor nation. they wil be happy.

  17. @thomasrogers9146

    January 2, 2024 at 8:16 pm

if you can not compete you start a trade war. china has massive leverage.Banning rear earth minerals will cripple our ev and semicolon aspirations. All of these protectionism is only going to hurt American consumers and slow down our ev transition. American companies are losing global market shear at an alarming rate.

    January 2, 2024 at 8:16 pm

A trade war, America will lose. You first have to engage and trade to actually win a trade war. We run massive trade deficits with China, which means we really don’t trade with them. We give them freshly printed dollars for their finished goods. You tell me who has the upper hand here.

Batteries in Chinese electric cars come from the Xinjiang region, where they are produced by:
    – coal-fired plants and
    – Uyghur forced labor in their production.

  28. @lastChang

    January 2, 2024 at 8:16 pm

Chinese electric cars are heavily subsidized by many levels of Chinese government. Some people bought them, threw them away without driving, and still made profits.
    – That's why there are millions of new cars abandoned by owners across the country.
And this is not an exaggeration.

Between soiling his pants and starting new wars, Biden can't seem to get anything right.
