It is not fine. At a the best we are looking at a total collapse of the UK and the USA banking systems. This is just the start, bond yields have cause a inversion in equity value and the increase of of interest rates have cut all banks profits. They are a sinking ship and there is not way to float them at this point.

  19. @kyronjanestepa6111

    January 4, 2024 at 8:49 pm

Lets blame the US gov't for not implementing all the rules in the stock market… Hedgefunds and banks are too aggressive in breaking all those rules…They are way too over leveraged.

Look, as far as the American side goes, balance sheet management during the Fed rate hike cycle is what caused the panic. There was nothing done in secret that you could blame on the rather minor change made in regulation.

    Value Fiat?
    Balance/ Fiat Currency :
Disposition All Lending institutions, all sizes. Central banks offer positive ROD 'Deposits' / Mark to Market, Liquidate Derivatives / Hypothetication Solved NOW W/ Digital Gold Note, NOT Fiat Derivatives.
Quit chasing tails, race to the bottom, it's Finally Over. Bondage Finished, Real Value Moves Markets Forward ..

People Without Kids Now Utilize 529 Accounts

Published

on

Bloomberg’s Sarah Foster joins Scarlet Fu on “Bloomberg Money.” In 2022 Congress tweaked the rules covering 529 plans. Now, people without kids are now able to pour money into those accounts after hitting the annual limits for contributing to their retirement plans — treating the 529 as a backdoor for funding a Roth IRA.

Zandi: AI Drives at Least 25% of Growth

Published

on

Mark Zandi, Chief Economist at Moody’s Analytics, says Nvidia is a “juggernaut” and that AI accounts for at least a quarter of economic growth. Zandi thinks AI is already supporting the demand side of the economy and adding modestly to inflation, but clear productivity gains have not yet appeared. Zandi argues those gains are essential to sustaining company valuations. He also expects Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh’s Jackson Hole speech to be relatively quiet and not market-moving. He speaks with Joe Mathieu and Tyler Kendall on the late edition of Bloomberg’s “Balance of Power.”
