   Most people in jax fl don't vote. They like all the free money. You need to watch more than the democrat leaning news stations. None of the local stations are neutral.

   I voted the opposite candidate at the time of this election when I didn’t know much, but I am proud to say Donna Deegan will have my support as mayor of my hometown, Jacksonville Florida!

   A New Democrat here, and a win for democracy 🙂

   Donna is correct she is well known in Jacksonville which is why she won with republicans and democrats. I vote Republican mostly but will vote Democrat if the candidate is for their constituents and not lobbyists.

   I am sure that at some time Deegan will say something that DeSantis doesn't like, and DeSantis will have the state take over Jacksonville the way he took over Disney's land.

    You know, people are essentially good and as a rule, don't relate to the hate rhetoric constantly presented by the despotic members of the Republican political caste. If the Democrat campaign people don't use this example to get back to basics and convince voters that they are being conned by the likes of DeSantis, Marge and Trump, then they deserve what they get.

    This can happen a lot, if Democrats can be coerced into voting en masse. There are plenty of registered democrats.
    But they would have to vote. This is a long term thing to come to terms with.
    Takes no time at all, costs nothing, just vote.

    Donna Deegan was a great news anchor when she went thru her breast cancer is was like she was your sister,wife, mother, and had everyone's support. My niece and her husband ran in some of those marathons to raise money for breast cancer and she kept her word and now helps the underprivileged with their breast cancer diagnosis. She would say she has it easy since she was able to have the insurance to get quality care and wanted the same for those who didn't . Great pick Jax .

    I remember Donna from when I was stationed in Kings Bay, GA (within the Jacksonville media market) in the mid-90s. She's one of those journalists that I have never forgotten, and I'm glad to learn she will now be the mayor of Jacksonville. I'm sure she'll do a fantastic job as mayor, and hopefully help Democrats turn Florida blue again.

There is tons of great science out there now for the power of this diet to heal and prevent chronic diseases. There is lots of valuable info on youtube. Enjoy your new position in Jacksonville!
