Joy you are upset that the average law abiding citizen is now on equal footing as any criminal . Restrictions on firearms means on criminals that commit violent crimes will conceal carry . As the old saying goes ,"an armed society is a polite society " .

Responsibility has consequences. Leadership has consequences. Holding a political office, its responsibilities and leadership, has consequences. Abuse the responsibilities and sow the consequences.

For Christians, that means that at the very least you should follow the 10 Commandments – and politicians are especially good at ignoring numbers 6-10…

    1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
    2. You shall not make idols.
    3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
    4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
    5. Honor your father and your mother.
    6. You shall not murder.
    7. You shall not commit adultery.
    8. You shall not steal.
    9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
    10. You shall not covet.

    Gun facts
329 injured by firearms in US each day
430 accidental gun death per year

In 1789 when the writers of the 2nd amendment wrote the law they had no way to know how deadly guns would become.

The original purpose – The American Revolution was over and to protect America from future invasion it made sense for Americans to have guns.

Guns and war have changed SO MUCH that the original purpose no longer makes sense.

The guns back then were muzzle loaded with flint striker. The level of guns for war and hunting were the same.

The only way to stop mass shootings and NOT violate the 2nd amendment is to replace all modern firearms with the type of guns that the 2nd amendment was written for.

To be perfectly clear – I AM NOT saying take guns away. People WILL STILL have guns.

And democratically run States… Many are up over 100% in crime violent crime… Where many of the Republican states their crime has dropped ? Portland Oregon is up 800% in violent crime…. They need a new mayor and governor…. Republican !!

I'll bet if just one mass shooting included a few republican Senators their minds would change real fast. Just saying

2:59 "I belive that love is the answer. But you oughta own a handgun just in case" I can't believe this is an actual elected senator. smh

  32. @BdR76

    January 4, 2024 at 1:30 pm

0:38 Last year there were more mass shootings (610), which accounted for 520 deaths and 2541 injured. The overall gun violence (43,000+ deaths) was on average. Sad.

  33. @justgotravel6646

    January 4, 2024 at 1:30 pm

I understand some people buy a gun to protect them against other people owning a gun.
But why did the other people buy a gun? To protect them selfs against the first or other other people?
