No finer example of a truly American life can be found than that of Rosalynn and James Carter.
Compassion, faith, generosity, love and above all else, service to their fellow Americans and the world.
We have lost her presence, but not her spirit and we will live by her example if we can pluck the courage from our hearts.

  24. @gaozhi2007

    January 4, 2024 at 10:48 pm

Her husband was a useless, dementia-addled fool just like Brandon. He wrecked the economy with high inflation and recessions–stagflation. Also just like Brandon!!! She will not be missed.

    A beautiful lady, rest peacefully!

  26. @melrose9252

    January 4, 2024 at 10:48 pm

Rosalyn’s legacy was being married to one of the worst Presidents in history. Only Biden and Obama are worse. Jimmy Carter was a horrible President. Double digit inflation and interest rates, open border to Cuba and allowed hostages to be held in Iran, he was and still is a disgrace.

  34. @belindahanley7582

    January 4, 2024 at 10:48 pm

You missed the First Lady’s point, Kelly. She was not fiercely defending her husband, she was pointing out to you that you were mistaken about his job as president. In fact he was a much better president than he was given credit for.

For the election between Carter and Reagan, Americans had a choice between supporting a President in a time of crisis, or electing a lying buffoon who hated our Land, our Workers, our Constitution, and especially people who were NOT white. We chose WRONG!

  41. @PaloDuro1021

    January 4, 2024 at 10:48 pm

Jimmy wasn't a very good president but they were both awesome people.

We have to ask ourselves, What has happened to the American voters that they would go from the amazing humanitarian legacy of the Carters – representativive of what I thought were our American Values – To Trump and Melania.
