People who criticize her accent clearly don’t understand how multilgualism or even accents works. People’s accents and the way they talk in general change all the time spontaneously, without any intention, by their surrounding and situation. You naturally talk differently with different people, period. It’s your brain, not your conscious effort. I’m multilingual and I know that my accent varies depending on my mood, topic, person I’m talking to, etc. And I’ve long decided that life was too short to worry about things like that.
