   Colin should have NEVER taken this white guy's advice to kneel. Colin's protest had nothing to do with the military and the troops. Nate must feel very empowered that he helped to "white wash" Colin's sacrifice. I'm sure he got endless accolades, praise, pats on the back, and at-a-boy's, for this "white wash", and feels quite proud of himself. Wow, he made it to CNN.

   Nate Boyer this fucker should be striped of all military merits for starting this shit. How can You who took an oath to the flag and the American people encourage something like that. Anyone in the military who believes this shit should be court martial ASAP. I support free speech, but when you go and take a shit on the flag. And you as a military ex Green Beret are talking a shit on the soldiers who where fighting for and died for you. That is a whole different story. He took there memory and there loved one and shit all over them for his self beliefs. What a rotten man.

   The NFL owners and commissioner need to get out of Kaepernick way and just let the man play. What are we showing the kids out here, you can do bad stuff but if you can run or throw a ball well you don't have to worry about your wrong doings. I was in the Navy 05-09 and Kaepernick taking a knee is no big deal to me because he had a just cause for why he was kneeling and it won't for his own ends, it was to help bring a change to real social injustice in our society and if you can't get behind what he was talking about then and even currently, go take a good look in the mirror and reevaluate who you are as a person.

    Retired Marine here… Since when is kneeling negative? When you're knighted, you kneel to pay respect to the king… When we ask the one we love to spend the rest of her life with you, we kneel out of respect… and many times when we pray to God, we kneel. So, what MORON made kneeling bad? Oh, that's right, flag groping, draft dodging Trump!

    Osama bin Laden trained with the Army Green Berets and Navy UDT Seals. Many Special forces guys can vouch for the patriotic character of Osama bin Laden. They even went so far as to say that Osama Bin Laden should be buried in the Arlington National Cemetery! It was George Bush Jr., Mayor Rudy Guiliani, and the Israeli Mossad Intelligence Agency who planned and carried out the New York Twin Tower attacks!

    Stances on this topic are a great way to immediately spot the complete idiots in the media. CK is a backup QB who was benched for Blane Gabbert, caused a 12% ratings drop for the NFL, and then sued them. The NFL would blackball the entire New England Patriots team if Bob Kraft caused a 12% ratings drop and he is actually the BEST at his job. It's so moronic this is even being floated as a possibility. So, of course, it would have to come out of Steven A and CNN among other media stupidity

    It is about the money. NFL fans are largely conservative and Cap threatened the bottom line. No one is allowed to threaten their money no matter how talented. You thing NFL cares about off field behavior? Only as it effects their product and the money. NFL is a corporation set up to profit the owners nothing is allowed to interfere with profit.

    It can be plainly seen here that it is useless to try to explain to people what the flag truly stands for. So happy to see that many veterans here who served and fought for this country may or may not agree with Kaepernick’s beliefs but they defend his right to do what he did. That is why this is still the greatest country on earth. May God bless all of you servicemen and women for your service to this country. Thank you
