Sen. Murphy: Proposed Relief Bill ‘Could Get Us Through What Could Be A Very Hard And Deadly Winter’
Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss the proposal of a $908 billion COVID relief bill by a bipartisan group of senators as 14 million Americans could lose unemployment aid by the end of December. Sen. Murphy says, “This amount of money could get us through what could be a very hard and deadly winter. This isn’t big enough to be able to get us to the point where the entire country is vaccinated. But it might be enough to make sure that millions of Americans don’t go hungry, don’t starve, don’t die out on the streets this winter when their jobless benefits expire and when protections for evictions expire.” Aired on 12/01/2020.

‘ERODING our democracy’: Morning Joe reacts to SHOCKING NYT Editorial on Trump’s election meddling
The New York Times editorial board is out with a new series tracking 12 categories of democratic erosion in the United States, highlighting the “worrisome steps” it says President Trump has taken toward undermining American democracy. Measuring on a scale from zero to 10 — with zero representing a strong, though imperfect, democracy and 10 representing a true autocracy — the board has moved one category, “manipulating the law to stay in power,” up to Level 3. The Morning Joe panel breaks down the ominous warnings from the piece as the country heads toward the November midterms and the 2028 election.

Parents are giving up green card fights to get their kids out of immigrant jail: Marshall Project
In 2013, Ana Kikabidze was selected to receive a U.S. green card. When unforeseen circumstances hit she had to move back to her home country. When she came back to the U.S. in May with her children, the family was arrested and sent to the controversial detention center in Dilley, Texas. Biden will never step down so Harris can take over. Even if he is on the verge of dementia, his wife, Jill, will never let that happen. It is up to Harris to use 25th to get rid of him now. Yes Vice President Harris, I agree for children it's completely different. For them to get thru the COVID19 isn't just their lives. Nobody realizes an entire generation of education trauma is silently evolving for the youth that could care less who their parents voted for or who is in Office. Parents that never had to learn what their children are able to learn are dealing with tutoring themselves and learning the classes. Some are having serious difficulties, single moms/dad's and working. I don't others have really realized the possible impact on our social to economic lifestyle. For children this is compared to parents having an argument and divorcing versus breaking each other's toys then not even having to apologise because they have to join forces to get mom/dad to take, make or buy them something new. Thank you VP Harris, stand for them cause what they are surviving is an PANDEMIC. We fail to realize that children at any age are like pre mature births fighting hoping those outside that clear bed doesn't screw up with the wrong treatment. They have enough from birth on still adapting. Nobody realizes mommies pregnant during the Pandemic and the ability of the child to experience the trauma the mother does. Only some parents have this access to healthcare knowledge and Therapuetic treatment for mom and baby. Just because the fetus is growing properly doesn't confirm no trauma to the child. I pray this reaches you and President Biden that an active unilateral care and the prevision is made know for mothers especially low income and rural well ghost town like States that were noticably affected with job losses. Has there been an increase in pregnancy because as humans we love more during such times of survival and justice. 🙏 Happy Holidays
