George Conway: ‘Lying, intimidating, bullying. That’s Trump at his worst, and that’s Trump always’

I wouldnt say "whatever it takes" with any seriousness could apply here. Yet I liked the use of the word "optimum" with regard to how much T is the best each individual. Unfortunately being in the "normal" range can still leave you at the lower end of normal which can still leave you sitting on the couch saying "duh;" littlle motivation, lethargic, low libido, and sad to name a few of the symptoms. It is an individual determination about quality of life not someone elses choice based on their chart saying "you are in the normal range" No one is advocating adrenochrome here. Very few want to cross the line to the steroid bodybuilder level. Studies have been done. T has dropped in men over the last 50 years. Environmental toxins most likely are to blame. So accomodations are needed. Quit bitching about others wanting a better quality of life.

Lots of benefits for . . . males.
It’s no wonder the media went into full panic over the “demon” hormone. Lord knows if you take a syringe of testosterone you’re going to fly straight into “roid rage” and die of cancer with a week.
Also, masculinity is “toxic” anyway. Next up, the CDC will recommend all men over 21 begin estrogen therapy right away.

As I’m approaching 58, I’ve been doing some research on the subject.
I’m in relatively very good shape, but have had multiple injuries & numerous surgeries for repairs…
All of which combined with natural aging makes working out & exercises more painful & harder to recover.
Just looking for something that boost my energy levels & lessen recovery time, allowing me the ability to strength train & build muscle.

I heard the words CHEATING, ARTIFICIALLY YOUNG, bla bla. Our cells have clocks that end no matter what then we die. Only with Testosterone we may get to live those years with MUCH LESS PAIN Less burden on our health system which is crumbling beneath our feet. Less burden on our children. More older adults in the workforce and teachers for younger generations. All this does is enhance our society. Everyone benefits.

Levels that are common at about 25 yo to 35 yo are not dangerous. Otherwise, life expentency would be that, 'cause testosterone would kill the men! Da! Yes, if you over boost the stuff, expect bad results. I'm 75 fat sick and flabby. I had a doctor who would prescribe it about 10 years ago. For two years, I lost weight, felt great, slept well, had ambition, and built muscle. My doctor retired, and the new doctor had a panic attack. I need to find a different doctor.

Many urologists and endocrinologists are hopelessly behind the research when it comes to TRT. They don't know how to prescribe it, how to manage it, or what they are doing to men by NOT prescribing it. Higher levels of Free-T tend to reduce the probability of getting prostate cancer. Men with Low-T are statistically more likely to get prostate cancer, and to have higher Gleason grade tumors when they do get it. Men who have prostatectomies and put on TRT are ~50% less likely to have PC recurrences compared to men who are Low-T after surgery, and if they are genetically predisposed to get recurrence, it occurs an average of 1.5 years later if their T levels are restored to normal with TRT. This is almost the exact OPPOSITE of what those doctors were taught in med school 20 years ago. As to quality of life issues, the majority of aging men need Free-T levels between 20 and 40 ng/dl to feel optimized. Because SHBG rises as they approach their 70s and 80s, their Free-T tends to drop even faster than their Total-T does, so they need higher levels of Total-T to reach the levels of Free-T required to be and feel "normal" than younger men do. Many endocrinologists try to do TRT to "normal" Total-T levels for 70 year olds, which leaves them hopelessly low in active Free-T, the active part of testosterone, with the rest of it bound up to SHBG and albumin, and generally unable to be absorbed by muscles and other organs where it is needed. IF you are an older man with symptoms of Low-T, go to one of the "Mens Health Clinic" type of medical providers, who know what they are doing about managing TRT. Your family physician and most endos and uros don't have a clue about how to do it correctly to resolve your Low-T symptoms.

Hormones are the true fountain of youth, for men and women. Why else do you think the "traditional" doctors speak so negatively about it? It makes you healthier by far to have peak levels.

Why did this guy get better results in his 50's than in his 20's?
Testosterone would only get someone from a low level back to a normal level they once were.

This isn't even to mention that older men have INSANELY higher amounts of T than younger men, because boys being born today are exposed to MASSIVE amounts of chemicals that disrupt development. This will be even more necessary for men in the latest generation when they grow up.

I've been taking testosterone injections since 2005 and I'm 57 now. Having low testosterone is BAD for you.
Hormones regulate our bodies functions. Its simple. Next time you go to your doctor TELL them you want a testosterone test.
If you are low, then make decisions from there. Some men feel fine with low testosterone. Most do not. You can be low at any age.
Most ALL men over 50 are low. This why they get sluggish and fat and don't concentrate as well.
Just remember, your body USED to produce it so you are simply replacing something your body no longer produces.
How can that be bad?
@niltomega2978
January 5, 2024 at 9:02 pm
lol…The average testosterone level is NOT 720 by age 60. !!! You won't even find the average 25 year to be that high!
Here is the break down according to the National Library of Medicine.
Sample of 1,486 men
Age-specific middle tertile levels were 409-558 ng/dL (20-24 years old),
413-575 ng/dL (25-29 years old),
359-498 ng/dL (30-34 years old),
352-478 ng/dL (35-39 years old),
and 350-473 ng/dL (40-44 years old)
. Age-specific cutoffs for low testosterone levels were 409, 413, 359, 352, and 350 ng/dL, respectively.

I did it for 5 months and it was good but my PSA prostate levels increase from 0.4 to 1.8 which is not good. FYI if your PSA levels reach 4, you need to go check yourself for prostate cancer. So yeah I stopped, and even with the post cycle to be normal, my testicles decreased in size 50% and my sack barely holds any semen. Also while injecting myself the needle vented and I got an infection on my legs. Let's just say, that I will never do that again… Oh and I'm 40!
