Trump's lawyers don't make sense because they have no defense. They are defending the undefendable

6:47 * because he gives them their best chance at absolute rule. If he misses he goes to jail, but, if he hits they win! He is either a demagogue or a patsy. The halls of real power stay the same.

That was a great opening question. It reminded me of something I thought of watching President Biden’s great speech. Dems should encourage others to take personal responsibility for their actions. rump can’t represent the party of personal responsibility, because he doesn’t want to take any. So, he can’t advocate for it. It’s just another crown Joe Biden can claim…

In Unica, a polarized nation undergoing social and demographic change, a celebrity turned into demagogue named Don-Vonn Rumpf rose to prominence, captivating the public with his persuasive rhetoric and populist appeal. Rumpf, slithered his way through the political landscape, wove his insidious charm, promising to restore the lost priviliges and glory for the "real" Unicans.

As Unica's people yearned for salvation, Rumpf's popularity soared, his meteoric rise fueled by their yearning for a leader who could fulfill their fading dreams. His signature slogan, "Unica First!" resonated with the masses, tapping into their collective anxieties and transforming their fears into a powerful force propelling him towards the presidency.

Rumpf's campaign rallies were spectacles of orchestrated chaos, a cacophony of nationalist chants, flag-waving frenzy, and his hypnotic speeches. His words, like venom from a serpent's fangs, seeped into the disillusioned ears of the masses, promising a utopian future where all their problems would vanish under his ironclad leadership.

Rumpf's political platform was a patchwork of contradictions, a tapestry of populist slogans and nationalistic fervor. He pledged to build a wall at the Southern border, "Make Unica Great Again", and purge the nation of its perceived "vermin" – the "radical left liberals", "lying press, enemy of the people", intellectuals, and minorities who dared challenge his authoritarian worldview.

As Rumpf became Unica's President, he began dismantling the foundations of democracy, transforming Unica into an illiberal democracy modeled after Viktor Bándit's Hungerrussia. He established the "Proud Oathers", a paramilitary force tasked with silencing dissent and enforcing his ironclad rule. And weaponized the civil service, in particular the Departments of respectively Defence and Justice, muzzled the press, silencing any voices that questioned him. He purged the judiciary, replacing Supreme Justices and judges with loyal puppets who would rubber-stamp his decrees.

Under Rumpf's authoritarian rule, Unica became a nation of fear and conformity. Citizens lived under constant surveillance, their every move scrutinized by Rumpf's omnipresent secret police. Opposition was met with swift and brutal punishment, dissenters labeled as foreign agents and subjected to legal or social repression, media censorship, torture and imprisonment.

The nation's once vibrant culture was stifled, replaced by Don-Vonn Rumpf's cult of personality. Art, literature, and music were all subjected to censorship, their messages contorted to fit Rumpf's warped perceptions. Education was reduced to a mere tool of indoctrination, history was rewritten, books were banned, its curriculum designed to instill loyalty and obedience to the regime.

American Citizens need to ask yourself…Put aside everything Trump has done, been, or says….Take Trump as an everyday Citizen, just like you or me…AND ASK…DID TRUMP DO HIS CIVIC DUTY, BY KEEPING THE USA SAFE ? DID HE STAND WITH THE CONSTITUTION, against threat, invasion, and terrorists ? Did he obey the Laws of the USA ? NO Trump did none of the three, like ALL AMERICAN, HAS THE OBLIGATION TO DO, FOR THEIR COUNTRY…I like most American would fight to the death, for the USA..Would Trump ? Would any of the Candidates for President in 2024 ? That one person, that would, is who you vote for in 2024…The one that has given his life to serve the USA…NOT THEMSELVES, THEIR POCKETBOOKS, BUT THIS COUNTRY, THE PEOPLE, DEMOCRACY, AND THE CONSTITUTION…

Intelligent and empathetic Americans saw the writing on the wall and we voted blue. We will do it again this year and every election after that until republicans put Americans before their own greed.

Perhaps the prosecution case is so strong that any defense that Trump might launch will be senseless? His lawyers are learning that, no matter how hard you try, you just can't polish a turd.

  28. @meatslide

    January 6, 2024 at 12:31 pm

I didn't do it. If I did do it, I would have immunity. It's my lawyers fault. It's election interference. It's the Deep State. Using every defense to see if one works.
