At the risk of stating the obvious, one of the reasons why the Democrats have always struggled to pick up disenchanted centrist voters is that while the Republicans are rightly perceived as utterly without a moral compass, Democrats are rightly perceived as wealthy & spineless.
The best advice I could give Pres. Biden, assuming he’s re-elected is that he ought to immediately expand the SCOTUS from 9 to 13, and ensure he packs the court with young, liberal appointees. Then he ought to make the case that Mitch McConnell & the GOP are ENTIRELY responsible for the outcome.
He should be unapologetic and own it; it’s no less than the GOP have already done.
