That's heart breaking with Murphy getting 25 years to life. No matter how anyone sees it i think he had to do what he had to do. And it's a perfectly normal reaction i think. I would like to see how a judge would feel if someone killed his sister. I bet he would pout them in the electric chair and kill him.

Lol why is Diane Sawyer touching on his face like that. Has she never seen a cut or scar before? It was nice of her to visit these young men but I can't help but feel it was a bit exploitative and one sided. It demonized the authority figures as big bad boogymen, when in fact, they're also abused on the daily and not just by inmates bucing authority but by their own employer. It's sad to see so many mentally ill people who are serving time in a place that is the very last place they should be. Addiction and mental illness belong in a recovery atmosphere like hospitals and rehabilitation centers whilst being mandatory. This gov spends billions of dollars on everyone other than its own citizens. Shameful.

A lot of these inmates are just trying to survive because they grew up in messed up situations. People that have opportunities and a calm stable home will never understand these guys minds and no one wants to help them. So, they turn to selling drugs for food and money for rent so they won't end up homeless. The American system can help. But, instead just throws welfare money at them which in the long run costs more than just solving the problem for good. Welcome to the broken America.
