MS NOW reacts to Trump-Musk finger pointing after Ukraine’s satellite slowdown | COMPILATION
Donald Trump and Elon Musk are passing blame back and forth for a disruption in the Starshield service that Ukraine relies on in running operations to defend itself from Russia’s war. The Washington Post reports the White House is holding up the transfer of Patriot missiles to Ukraine on the same day a new report in the Wall Street Journal reveals Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of a military-grade version of Starlink relied on by Ukraine, resulting in confusion from Kyiv to Washington, D.C. Plus, Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that discussions are underway about a summit with President Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine — but Ukrainian President Zelenskyy would not be included.

Hawaii just made history, becoming the first state in the nation to effectively ban dark money in elections. The new law takes a novel approach: rather than trying to restrict corporate speech, it redefines the powers corporations have in the first place — and political spending is not among them. The strategy, known as the “Corporate Power Reset,” was developed by Tom Moore of the Center for American Progress. And at least a dozen states are now working toward passing similar laws.

Wow almost like stores hire more people for the holidays to help with the high demand. Great misleading reporting to try and show like we’re doing okay as a country. My wages haven’t gone up, the way to combat inflation is not by printing more money and increasing wages, it’s to reduce cost of living. How do we do that? Stop the outrageous government spending, and lower the price of gas by drilling on our own land and become an exporter instead of an importer, all other costs will fall into place.

Wage increases are outpacing inflation and unemployment is still at near record lows so in my mind, even if president Biden's administration had no other accomplishments this is enough for my vote in 2024. Throw in the fact the other guys will probably have an insurrectionist and convicted criminal on the ballot who is also a drama queen and the decision is a no-brainer.

We went into a manufacturing recession in August 2019 way before the pandemic so compared to then manufacturing is booming. Our GDP growth is higher than china’s for first time in 40 years, and our oil production is higher than anywhere else in the world. Add that to record wage increases and unions winning… we are the envy of the world economically.

They were mostly temporary Xmass holiday jobs. I'll wait for the February and March job report. Santa's elves were very busy. Soon they'll be unemployed & living in a cardboard box on a very cold concrete sidewalk in a democrat run city near you.
