So he and fat cats like zelinsky to line their pockets with American tax dollars …. And they want you to send more money are you kidding me Russia has crushed the Ukraine… And now they stand 3 deep on their new border on land at the ukrainians will never get back again…. Also the military industrial complex including guys like these two right here could get rich …. My God this is so corrupt it's just pathetic

This is an attempt to cover up the lamentable lack of support for Ukraine’s defensive efforts. It attacks Trump’s administration rather than Biden’s. It attempts to demonize and dehumanize Republicans. It uses propaganda techniques and disinformation. Blaming the actions of the Biden administration on the previous administration is absurd.

I supported US aid 2 years ago and if we continue, we'll be saying 3-4-10 years and on and on. etc. I'm realist and this is a lost cause as these armchair warriors were asleep or missed Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam… Americans are tired of acting as if Ukrainian's are paying US politicians salaries. There not!

In the beginning of this current invasion there were those who said that it was never the intent of the US to have Ukraine win, but only to have Ukraine be a meatgrinder to wear down the Russian military machine. One was mortified by the thought. However, last fall, 2022, was probably the last chance for Ukraine to break through in the south before the Russian defenses were built up, but the lack of air support at that time (and going forward to today) makes one think that either we have the stupidest military in the world, or that this war was lost intentionally.

Hersh reported in leaked intelligence documents last January that the CIA although not tasked estimates that 30% to 40% of the weapons and munitions sent to Ukraine by the US have ended up on the blackmarket. They said much of it was showing up in Africa for pennies on the dollar. CIA director Burns said that top Ukranian officials were mad because they thought Zelensky was taking an unfair share of stolen US monies. The CIA said these monies were given to family and friends and moved to offshore bank accounts. The US is running critically low on some munitions and weapons. The US gave Ukraine 2 million artillery shells. The US borrowed 500000 shells from Japan and South Korea. The US only produces 15000 shells a month. The plan is to ramp up production to 28000 shells each month in 2028. Active US divisions will not be replenished for as long as 10 years. I feel for the Ukranians. They fight hard and their country was attacked. Without a strong air force and air to air and air to ground superiority it is almost impossible for them to win. If the west really wanted them to win they should have trained a large number of pilots and sent hundreds of aircraft a year ago. It seems they eventually will have to compromise and lose some territory. Unless NATO or US is willing to directly intervene which could trigger a nuclear world war Ukraine has lost the war. If they settle now they will lose about 25% of their country. They cannot compete against Russia which has much larger population to draft troops from. Russia has lost as many as 400000 troops killed and wounded but they have 1.2 million active duty troops with 2.1 million in reserve and several hundred thousand in process of being trained. The US and NATO failed Ukraine early in the war. They should have been tracking all the weapons and everything and giving Ukraine everything it really needed. Biden says they track the weapons but that's only to the border. The Ukranian military should have trained up and equipped to US military standards. Then they would have stood a good chance of winning. The US doesn't care about Ukraine. It was about weakening Russia. The US should not be involved in these foreign wars in Ukraine, Israel ir the tge China Taiwan issue. The US should be working on it's own problems at home

Trump wanted about 20 billion dollars over 10 years to secure our southern border but Congress said that's too much, we can't afford it. And then we give Ukraine 100 billon within 2 years to protect their border.

Our Government is a swamp full of fools and Democrats are the biggest fools of all.

Where is line does Vindman stand when the US gov't hands out the taxpayer money to the military industrial complex? Is he a big owner of defense stocks? Or do the corporate donors like Raytheon just pay Vindman directly for being the puppet stooge to spew their rubbish?

"The Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances comprises three substantially identical political agreements signed at the OSCE conference in Budapest, Hungary, on 5 December 1994, to provide security assurances by its signatories relating to the accession of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). The three memoranda were originally signed by three nuclear powers: the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States.[1] China and France gave somewhat weaker individual assurances in separate documents."
