Fox News Mogul Mocked In HBO’s Hit ‘Succession’
Over the years, Fox News has played one of the largest roles in politics, with ring-wing billionaire Rupert Murdoch at the helm of the company. Murdoch is also part of the inspiration behind the hit HBO show “Succession,” which depicts an aging billionaire who owns a powerful right-wing cable channel and whose children jockey to take over the company. In her Beat debut, “Succession” star J. In his first interview since Oscar Bergal was shot by plainclothes federal agents in New York City, Mayor Zohran Mamdani details his response to violence that he says “left New Yorkers in terror.” Bergal remains in ICE custody after a series of unsuccessful negotiations between the mayor, President Trump and DHS Secretary Mullin. “For the Secretary, none of this was an issue, none of the critiques and concerns you’re hearing from people across the city and across the country was an issue,” he said. ICE agents are “making a mockery of what law and order is supposed to be.”

A federal judge indefinitely restored MS NOW, CNN, and POLITICO’s access to the White House after they were banned by President Donald Trump. The judge sided with the news organizations, writing that Trump’s ban likely violated both the First Amendment and the Fifth Amendment’s due process clause. The judge also rejected the administration’s national security justification, ruling in part that “Trump likely banned plaintiffs from the White House because he believes that their reporting is generally inaccurate and biased against him.” MS NOW legal affairs reporter Fallon Gallagher joined Way Too Early to discuss the ruling.

I suspect that the real Rupert Murdoch is far more influential and politically powerful than the Logan Roy character who portrays him is shown as being in the HBO series. Certainly he is the de facto ruler of the UK and no doubt calls the tune in the GOP.

Old men in their late seventies have absolutely no business trying to manage a country. I believe Biden is and has trying to do his best with the mess left behind by Trump. Trump obviously is a mental patient suffering from severe brain damage.
Can't imagine for a moment the task of managing any country nonetheless the USA.
