Let's not forget that the newly introduced virus only took out people that were already a drain on society. Let's not forget that people that believe dependence on oil is a rape on the planet in the first place and don't participate. Let's not forget that there are people that believe the current economic situation is based of greed and no longer deal with it.
The only people with a problem to this current situation over the last two years to date is for those that are ignorant.

ROME (AP) — Prices for food commodities like grains and vegetable oils reached their highest levels ever last month largely because of the sanctions impose on Russia by the EU and USA the “massive supply disruptions” is, threatening millions of people in Africa, the Middle East and elsewhere with hunger and malnourishment, the United Nations said Friday

This isn't a US only issue. Every Country has issues with inflation currently as the planet recovers from a World Wide Pandemic and demographic issues as the World Wide post WWII population explosion retires and dies off.

Add to that a Central European War that is threatening to take a third of the planet's grain supply and the 2nd largest oil producer out of global trade

And let's not forget that E Vehicles are about to throw absolute chaos in the energy markets and Graphene is about to be the biggest change in material science since humanity made the transition from Bronze to Iron.

    January 9, 2024 at 1:32 pm

"I think we're gonna need to ratchet it up if we're gonna do grave damage to the Russian economy". This guys language is why a very big chunk of the world is very anti american and is now becoming more and more active in fighting against the US/US dollar. This failure of an economist fails to realize that Russia possesses so many things the world needs and that the debt ridden US cannot replace them, which is why they are immune to western sanctions.

  34. @pernilsson9749

    But dear you,
Dollar are not hard currensy any more.
You can see this at Israel.
You in the US have to go in to activly
try to distruct the yevish gouvernment by "paying off", to get people to get out of the admin of I.
I think I fell an ever increaseing "smell" of anti semitism from parts of the US admin, when you activly interfere in Israelian internal affairs in this way.
Hopefully the US will not try to "start a color revolution" in Jero salem!?

  35. @forcealchemist2603

    January 9, 2024 at 1:32 pm

It's hilarious how this ghoul points the finger at "overheating wage growth" when the real issue is the zero interest debt that's been handed out to corporate America since the great recession. The zero interest debt was used for years for stock buybacks which allowed corporations to artificially pump up the value of their own stocks and in turn contributed to the largest asset bubble that this country has ever witnessed. The same goes for institutional investors that started to use the zero interest debt to buy up real estate. The massive asset bubble that we're living in is the true driver of inflation and it was due to over a decade of irresponsible monetary policy. Blaming the little guy for asking for a slightly higher wage to be able to survive the inflation is truly on brand for this asshole.

What a waste of time. Instead of saying that we must do something to stop war and help fellow Americans who are desperate for financial helps . but hell no US should spent money to fund the war. There is no lack of clown these days.

Recession is not going to happen anytime soon. Inflation yes ,, and they're the opposite of each other. After inflation and yes. You're trying to skip the inflation part which is about 20% through . NO CHANCE the rest wont keep coming. It's been more then a decade of inflation so far, and we still have at least 15 more years to come.

  41. @georgemaximus694

So western elites rule the world, these elites are largely jews, like Summers, Victoria Nuland and their Jewish Ukrainian oligarchs, Ihor Koloysky and Pres Zelensky. On the other hand you have Putin. This is a war between the Jewish power establishment in the West and the emerging superpower. You cant have biased people being interviewed and be giving their opinion on the direction of a nation, that ends up being the same as propaganda

Zelenskyy Says Trump Pushing Ukraine to Surrender, France Reels From Violence

Published

on

French President Emmanuel Macron said the country felt anger and shame following widespread violence over the weekend and called for order to be restored. Protests in several cities descended into clashes between police and demonstrators, sparking some of France’s worst street violence in years, with looting and landmarks set on fire. The violence is raising alert levels across Europe, where elections will be held in at least half a dozen countries next year.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Donald Trump of trying to pressure Kyiv into surrendering to Russia, escalating a week-long row with the US president. In an interview with Bloomberg in Kyiv, Zelenskyy also offered a new proposal to accede to Trump’s request to stop targeting Russian refineries, which was aimed at combating high diesel prices, in exchange for deliveries of more Patriot air-defense missiles.

China nudged economic growth back into Beijing’s target range in the third quarter, in a surprise rebound powered by factory production and the artificial intelligence supercycle that are largely failing to feed into stronger domestic demand.
