What Happened To Papa John’s?

Published

on

In early 2017, Papa John’s was enjoying steady growth, a high-profile partnership with the NFL and rapid international expansion. But its winning streak didn’t last — by 2018, Papa John’s future looked bleak. North America same-store sales growth plummeted in the 4th quarter of fiscal year 2017, and stayed negative for 6 straight quarters after that. Here’s where Papa John’s went wrong.

Basically the leftists right or wrong destroyed papa's business because he spoke freely. The truth isn't appreciated by leftists.

    Answer: John

  31. @McTrollenstein

    January 9, 2024 at 3:46 pm

I ate papa johns a few years ago. It literally tasted like nothing. Even this recovery of theirs seems like a corporate farce. Dominos went through the same thing. They admitted their recipe sucked and changed it, now they're number 1.

  32. @Omari1125

    January 9, 2024 at 3:46 pm

Papa John's CEO was also racist as hell.

  33. @youtuber6185

    January 9, 2024 at 3:46 pm

Papa Johns is ran by the worst kind of people. What they did to the founder and set him up was disgusting. They just care about money and not about quality, people or principles. I will NEVER eat at a Papa Johns again.

  34. @tristamsculthorpe4609

    January 9, 2024 at 3:46 pm

I checked a "loaded" Papa John's Pizza because I noticed how little pepperoni was on it. When pressed, the new young manager (a millennial) admitted that for every additional topping on the pizza, they were told to put LESS of every topping. Thus a large pepperoni pizza might have 25 – 30 pieces of pepperoni whereas a loaded pizza with 6 or 7 toppings will only have 11 to 15 pieces of pepperoni – check it out yourself…

Customers are getting very savvy. The owner of PJ'S is a very devisive individual. And customers will not spend money on a product pitched by an individual like John Shnatter

Meta Is Facing Its Biggest Trial Yet, And Its Future Hangs In The Balance

Published

on

By

Meta is facing what could be its most consequential trial yet, as 29 state attorneys general accuse the tech giant of knowingly designing Facebook and Instagram to addict children and misleading the public about the risks. The states are seeking civil penalties that could approach $200 billion and changes to core features like infinite scroll and autoplay, while Meta says the claims are unsubstantiated and that it has built strong protections for teens. The outcome of the federal trial could reshape how social media platforms are designed and open the door to greater liability for companies across the industry. CNBC’s Julia Boorstin examines why this case could become Big Tech’s “Big Tobacco” moment, and what a loss could mean for Meta’s business and the future of social media.
