‘January 6th was President Trump’s fault’: Cassidy Hutchinson tells Nicolle Wallace

Published

on

Cassidy Hutchinson, former White House aide and star witness in the January 6th Committee hearings, describes the chaos inside the Trump White House and the former president’s mob-like approach to loyalty. “Trump is a dangerous man and he demands a code of loyalty that isn’t normal.” Hutchinson lays the blame squarely on Trump and his enablers including Speaker Kevin McCarthy who, Hutchinson says, “spoke out after January 6th” but quickly “fell back to Donald Trump.”

Thank you so very much, Ms. Cassidy! Your courage and integrity is a beacon of hope in the dark shadow cast by MAGA.
I have little to no doubt that young women all over the world will be emboldened by your example.

You have shown more strength, and patriotism than the entirety of Trumps inner circle.

May your efforts not go unanswered, and may justice prevail.

The troubling thing about her is, she said she still considers herself a republican. Really? The party that has sold out to the worst american society has to offer and stands for nothing? I mean, she doesn't need to embrace the dems, but either become an independent or just walk away from any political party. To say you're still a republican, which may no longer exist as she believes in her mind, is a combination of naivete, delusion, and stupidity.

  14. @dearthworm

    January 10, 2024 at 12:45 pm

She ultimately did the right thing, but she eagerly went awfully far down the road of wrong before she stopped. She joined the Trump administration loooooong after it was clear what kind of a president he was and what kind of man he was. She said she became interested in working for Trump after attending one of his rallies; she said his message resonated with her. She worked for Ted Cruz and Steve Scalise. Did she realize she was on the wrong path morally, or did she realize that her career and life was circling the drain.

The loyalty she describes about The Donald sounds cultish to me. I too was at a job where I worked for a narcissist when I was young. found it interesting that so many of my colleagues said they liked our CEO because he did one nice thing for them while disregarding all of his toxic nature. Thankfully my Dad said to me “Never dance with the devil”. I quit and completely burned that bridge…..even though my former colleagues literally told me I would regret it. The company eventually collapsed, and those same people went down with the ship for this man. The company was a definitely a cult.

As a young person you did an amazing job in sticking with your natural intelligence, moral base, and clear vision of what our government could and should be. Rep. slams GOP for Hunter hearing with Hunter in attendance

Published

on

By

It was political theater at Wednesday’s House Oversight and Accountability Committee with #HunterBiden making a surprise appearance. #Republicans have highlighted Biden’s business deals in an effort to tarnish his father, who himself faces an impeachment inquiry. Democrats, meanwhile, have pointed out that #Republican members ignored subpoenas from the #January6 Committee. Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-NY) has suggested the panel hold a vote on hearing from #Biden “right now,” asking for a show of hands from the room.

Hunter Biden has offered instead to testify in a public setting, and delivered a statement to the press outside the Capitol rather than attend the deposition, saying his father “was not financially involved in my business.”
