The survival of all 379 passengers & crew onboard was entirely due to many years of dedication & vigilance to flight safety regulations that ensured everyone could safely exit a burning plane quickly (the certification-test standard is an aggressive 90-seconds or less, using only half the exits) – thanks to lighted exit signs, automatic raft slides, procedures, amazing flight attendants & crew, plus the excellent work of first responders — all learned and implemented after learning from previous accidents and deaths.
