‘Terrible’: GOP strategist reacts to Trump attorney’s remark on Fox News
Emergency responders took Sen. Mitch McConnell to an ambulance on a stretcher after being called to his home last month for a report of an unconscious person, according to new video of the incident and an eyewitness account.
A neighbor of McConnell told CNN that they opened their door to find commotion outside their home at around 8:30 a.m. on June 14, with two ambulances, a fire truck and Capitol Police officers blocking the entire street.
The neighbor said they learned from another eyewitness who saw the individual’s face that the person on the stretcher was McConnell and he was not wearing an oxygen mask.
CNN’s Annie Grayer has the details, and emergency physician Dr. Megan Ranney describes what struck her about the newly released video. Also, CNN’s Audie Cornish looks at GOP lawmakers’ reactions to Sen. McConnell’s medical situation.

Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky on Sunday announced, after weeks of speculation, that he had a fall last month that landed him in the hospital.
McConnell also provided a photo showing him smiling next to his wife, Elaine Chao. He appears to have a copy of Sunday’s Washington Post sports section on his lap.

When do trump attorneys work? Being paid for editorial interviews is NOT preparing for trials. Are the trump attorneys only attempting to make a name for themselves? They’ve had several years to prepare their dozens of trial briefs, to educate themselves on state & US constitutional law, & prepare themselves for handling US classified documents by earning government classification authorization permissions. Trump’s lawyers aren’t prepared due to being distracted by participating in media & news interviews daily, they don’t know state & US laws shown in their repeated submissions of inappropriate state & federal legal documents. Trump’s 10-man legal team are handling dozens of lawsuits which normally would require dozens of entire law firms as most millionaires would choose to hire, they’re outmatched by opposing teams hundreds of attorneys, trump’s legal team are the most unprepared bottom-of-the-barrel attorneys in the US lawyer pool due to childish media distractions instead of doing their jobs by insisting on participating in daily news interviews (especially Alina Habba). Again, when do Trump’s attorneys work? Yeah, he’s toast.

She put a public spotlight on Kavanaugh's apparent conflict of interest, so now he has to recuse himself.
If he doesn't, then you know there is an actual conflict of interest … in which case he has to recuse himself.
But being a Republican who's allegiance is to Party above All, there is no way he will recuse himself.

Why would the Supreme Court throw it over for Trump? The law is very clear, and it's their job to interpret the Constitution regardless of who's at the short end of the stick as a result. Their legacy depends on them doing this well and their decision will effect the nation forever. It can't depend on quid pro quo.

Three things:
1. The reason why the focus of the news is on Trump's attorney's remarks and Trump bribes is because any lawyer who went to even the flimsiest of law schools knows this is going to be overturned. The real embarrassment is that there are attorneys on TV who people trust misleading the public on the merits, here.
2. SCOTUS are untouchables, but it is a mistake to say that they are not politically driven. Roberts – not Cavanaugh – is usually the one who has his finger on the political pulse.
3. The real question here, is will SCOTUS embarrass the lower courts 9-0, or will it be 6-3 and make the nation more divisive?
This is stupid – and will only make Trump stronger. And it takes a lot of balls to talk about presidents taking foreign money when Biden is neck deep in Ukraine.

1:03 Scott Jennings says he doesn't think the Supreme court wants to be responsible for kicking Trump off the ballot in all 50 states. As the GOP want the power left to the states not to federal government (Abortion rights) then he should be OK with individual states making the decision on who goes on their ballot. The whole process of elections is run by individual states. So the SC don't need to step in on this issue if we follow GOP logic. of course this will lead to eventual chaos within the US electoral system. Federal positions should be elected by federal rules, state positions by state rules. The individual states who want to remove a candidate should take the issue to congress and let them decide.
As Trump went to hell and back to appoint Kavenaugh (he didn't really), but just shoved Barret in there at the 11th hour despite being a lame duck President. Barrett doesn't need to "step up" for him, but of course she will.
