Brett Favre And The Collapse Of Conservative Government In Mississippi

Published

Chris Hayes: “This is almost a cartoonish scandal if it were not so devastating. A multimillionaire football star…and a Republican governor appear to be involved in a scandal with the misuse of federal dollars for the poorest members of the poorest state.”

this is what regressive, er, "conservative" states (like mine) do best. Keep (millions of) "their" people poor and sick enough to need the federal dollars they steal to enrich and empower a few allies at everyone else's expense.

They just don't support quality of life. They are a backwater 3rd world state with a brutally bad education system, one of the lowest life expectancies in the US, highest death rate from covid, highest infant and maternal death rates and so on. Mississippi is example A of what a rush to the bottom looks like. Led of course by Republicans. Oh yeah lock Brett Favre up.

I love it when commentators always have to qualify by saying it's not an indictment of the '"good people" of whatever. Who elected these humps that screw them. Good people, maybe. Smart people…not a chance.

Somehow the WORLD is shocked AGAIN to find out that the rich are stealing from poor children and how many years did they go without anyone noticing? Talking to my sister about this video we were amazed that little oversight was required for these RICH to operate… while my sister was working as my mom's caregiver there were social workers there throughout the year. And how far they would go to see if my sister was providing these services appropriately and checking to see if her little tiny check was to be continued.

What goes around comes around my people. All of the atrocities committed in that state, (one of many) I don't feel any kind of way about it. Sometimes the sins of the father are inherited.

This type of unfortunate will continue and not cease until those who commit selfish and greed acts are truly held publicly accountable. ESPN has been very quiet except for a few who are not afraid to speak about it. This could be an entire segment from start to finish.

There's much wrong with this picture 📸 for Mississippi and their Government….They Can Give Brett Favre all that Monies for BS but can't give their citizens good running water 🙄 so very much is wrong with this picture.

  36. @marinadubois7347

    January 11, 2024 at 6:13 pm

Republicans are liars who offer nothing but hate. They voted against federal money but then refused to use it effectively for Jackson. Brett Farve stole from the poor to build a volleyball stadium for his daughters future college .

  37. @eddieparker945

    January 11, 2024 at 6:13 pm

I thought Brett's a stand up type of guy, when standing next to an insurrectionist like 45?! Nuff Said 👎🖕👎
