In Japan, it is midnight on January 9th. Nightmares continue. New Year's Days are gone. Tokyo's system is ALL GREEN. The Tokyo Stock Exchange, foreign exchange, etc. are all operating normally. However, please never go to the Hokuriku region. Roads, railways, and airports cannot be used in the Hokuriku region. This is Tokyo. good night.

Everyone here is praising the flight crew… what about the passengers, that diligently followed orders, they didnt panic, and they didnt bring their carry ons down the slide and all got out in a orderly fashion.

Please bring back the photos of the Korean Air accident in 2016 and immediately apologize to CNN for not apologizing for the Japanese plane accident. The fact that they took photos of Korean Air in 2016 and attached photos of a Japanese airplane accident is denigrating South Korea's image. CNN should apologize to South Koreans. CNN appears to have acted intentionally. It makes no sense to say it was a mistake. South Koreans were very angry.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Japan at this time. Praise to the crew on the Japan Airlines A350 for saving all on board. Prayers to those who died in the Japanese Coast Guard Dash-8 plane and to those who died in the latest Japanese earthquake. Could have been a different story if this accident occurred in a Western airport with a Western airline.

Americans would never have survived this crash because of their greed. They would be grabbing their bags from the overhead bins, blocking the aisles searching for their bags, some roided guy would probably punch out a flight attendant because they told him to leave all his belongings behind, and someone would open an emergency exit directly into the fire and a dozen people would follow them into the inferno. In Japan meanwhile, smart people calmly assess the situation, leave their belongings behind and help each other get out safely. I say this as an American who has observed people here my entire life.

ER doctor reacts to Mitch McConnell ambulance video

Published

on

By

Emergency responders took Sen. Mitch McConnell to an ambulance on a stretcher after being called to his home last month for a report of an unconscious person, according to new video of the incident and an eyewitness account.

A neighbor of McConnell told CNN that they opened their door to find commotion outside their home at around 8:30 a.m. on June 14, with two ambulances, a fire truck and Capitol Police officers blocking the entire street.

The neighbor said they learned from another eyewitness who saw the individual’s face that the person on the stretcher was McConnell and he was not wearing an oxygen mask.

CNN’s Annie Grayer has the details, and emergency physician Dr. Megan Ranney describes what struck her about the newly released video. Also, CNN’s Audie Cornish looks at GOP lawmakers’ reactions to Sen. McConnell’s medical situation.
