   Ford did the right thing, but it seems people are quick to judgement without understanding what Ford actually has done. Ford did not and will not ditch the traditional Mustang sports car. Least we forget, Mustang is currently the worlds most sold sports car !. THE WORLDS HIGHEST SELLING SPORTS CAR!! you think theyre going to trade that up for an electric suv crossover? of course not. BUT!!! Ford always understood their was always a high demand from potential buyers that wanted to see the Mustang changed into something larger, very 4 door dodge charger like to accommodate families. Ford was actually smart enough not to pull the trigger on that bad idea. Bad enough they tried to make the Probe a mustang. BUT Ford understood what buyers wanted, and that was something fast fun legendary but able to accommodate more passengers. And with their new cross over EV that no matter how good would never be a success, they understood all it needed was to bare the name of a Mustang, and those peoples who wanted more would have their desires met and then some. SO the normal traditional Mustang continues on, but now theirs a new "mustangs" that caters to another segment, the electric crossover SUV. and guess what? people like it. the only problem is the very well planned out strategy of Elon Musk and Tesla, because when people where all upset with Elon and Tesla in regards to the model 3 delays, Elon was building what was truly needed, a massive Tesla recharging infrastructure worldwide. He understood that no matter how good the competition, if they had to rely on 3rd party recharging stations that barely work right, those buyers EV experience would be poor. And Tesla would still dominate because he made the EV experience problem free. People love their Mach-e Mustangs, but dont like the recharging experience. never the less Ford did it right in regards to Mach-e which one can very well argue its sales wouldve been far worse if it didnt bare the brand Mustang and without all the controversy that had people looking deep into the vehicles. Sales may not be stellar, but its still the 2nd best selling EV in comparison to Tesla model Y

   The Mache looks nice and it is a genius concept. If I was in the market for a automobile I would seriously have the Mache on the top of my list.

    I also think it was stupid for Ford to change the Mustang in to a cross over/EV its meant to be a sports car and it's the 2nd longest produced American sports car with nearly 60 years in production the only one in production longer is the Chevrolet Corvette with nearly 70 years also the oldest car Nameplate in history actually belongs to an SUV the Chevrolet Suburban which has been in production nearly 90 years while the longest production for an American Luxury nameplate was the Cadillac Eldorado in production for 50 years from 1952 to 2002

    As a mustang fan, i don't have a problem with an ev Mustang,but i do have problem with an electric Suv Mustang.

    All I'm saying is Tesla rn is dominating the electric car industry with them all electric car and big TV size media screens etc. But just wait till the rest of the competition catch up and start doing the same because that's obviously what's going to happen and perhaps at a cheaper or reasonable cost. Then Tesla will no longer be the big thing just another car brand in the market.

    They cant win that battle. Tesla built their consumer base from the ground up and they all are pro electricity. Fords consumer base is almost completely gas supportive, its what the mustang was iconic for. Now they'll not only lose that consumer base but will have to build their own base up and will always fall behind tesla unless they do something revolutionary which likely wont happen. And converting their customers to electricity also is futile. This was just a dumb move all around but time will tell how it goes.

    If Tesla sells so many. Cars where are they?
    Dont think there is one in our city.
    They put a charging station at Walmart a couple of years ago.
    So far I've seen one car with out of state California plates using it.

    It’s hard to think of Ford without SEDANS! But here We are… I’ll Never Understand How Ford Has 8 SUV/CUVs & 4 Trucks WITH ONE COUPE! I’m still at shock That Ford Pioneered The Sedan Segment & The 1st To Abandon It🤦🏽‍♂️ It’s Weird! Should’ve just made The Mach-E An Electric Sedan Or Hatch Since They Have so many of The Same Sized SUVs! What’s the point of having a Bronco Sport & Escape?? Just take the Escape and give us The Focus ST!!!!!!

    The original popular auto's are the only real thing. The original mustang, The original corvette, The original T-bird. Those body styles that came out the first 2 to 3 years. Taking a Toyota or a Honda body style and putting a mustang badge on it, Will never make it a Mustang a Corvette or a Thunderbird. The beauty of these cars were American workmanship coupled with speed, style & class. Strong heat forged metal body's with chrome trim have been replaced with plastic & coke can quality metal. Even the Tires back then were classy. Orange or thin white walls with raised letters. And Cragar deep dish Mags with spinners are still the best looking. Time marches on, technology replaces class and style, And your left with a way overpriced Toyota Corolla with a Mustang badge.

    I don’t understand the hate of that E-Car, aka Mustang, cars change every generation so there’s no reason to give it hate, especially if it becomes a family vehicle. Besides I’ll drive it and I don’t give it hate because I’m fan of SUVs and sports vehicles
