Former Trump Adviser Stephen Moore Says Fed Should Hold Rates Steady
Former Trump Senior Economic adviser Stephen Moore is on Bloomberg This Weekend and says inflation remains too high for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates, breaking with President Donald Trump’s repeated calls for lower borrowing costs and arguing the central bank should hold rates steady for now. Moore also warned hosts Christina Ruffini and Bailey Lipschultz that elevated oil prices and the escalating US Canada trade fight pose risks to the economy and Republicans heading into the midterm elections.

Lack of Russia Pressure Strategy a ‘Problem’: Daalder
Former US Ambassador to NATO Ivo Daalder says the Trump administration lacks a concerted strategy to pressure Russia into negotiations, arguing Washington needs to combine continued military support for Ukraine with stronger economic pressure and diplomacy. He also sees little prospect that Chinese President Xi Jinping’s upcoming visit to Washington will produce progress toward ending the war. Daalder speaks with Joe Mathieu and Tyler Kendall on the late edition of Bloomberg’s “Balance of Power.”

Iran War Exposes Limits of US Military Endurance
Six months into the US conflict with Iran, oil flows from the Persian Gulf have recovered to about 40% of prewar levels, but risks remain as the Strait of Hormuz stays constrained and the Navy faces mounting pressure on personnel, equipment and finances. Bloomberg News Economic Statecraft Lead Chris Kennedy and Bloomberg News Defense Reporter Jen Judson join hosts Christina Ruffini and Bailey Lipschultz on Bloomberg This Weekend and discuss the strain on US military readiness and why a new US deal involving Venezuelan oil fields is unlikely to deliver a significant near-term boost to global supply.

C-Level management that don't believe in remote work… stuck in industrial age… they pretty ignore the fact that they got more results from remote workers. The main people against it are the fat boomers who are against using technology in first place.

I love how everyone believes they could do a better job as fed chair than the fed chair. They caused the mess because they didn’t raise soon enough, they will cause a recession if they didnt stop yesterday. The fed won’t do what they say, they will do the opposite and cut because they dare not do what they say..trust me they will cut because they have no guts. Lol it’s crazy, if I were the fed chair I would say in September, here’s ya cut…we are raising as I said…now go stand in the corner and think about what you have done and don’t come out till you can apologise and stop with you temper tantrums.

amen on the culture lines john, that stuff is rediculous, work and culture? most of the time productivity does come from isolation, culture leads to conflicts of culture internal. but even so, if they want to promote this, offer better insentives to go IN to work rather then remote, hell limit the remote workers on their growth path but still give them the OPTION to work. I work from home teaching, programming, and data analytics on my own projects and some small clients and customers that i manage on my own, i feel far more productive on my own than the wasteful meetings that could be emails, wasteful group culture building projects that everyone just shakes their head in silliness, as if pizza at work will help evveryone get alont and work better, its all a facade and bullsh. I hope we really do have a genuine cultural change in the business environment, and it starts with Capitalism, if u want something, give insentive for it, but you cant dictator your way to get everyone back to the office and not expect a bite back.
