Biden and his administration want to ban semi-auto rifles that have certain scary looking features because it makes them look like their full-auto military counterparts.
But It wouldn't matter if Biden and the Dems were actually talking about military full-auto M4s or actual full-auto AK47s. Our right to own the same bearable arms the military uses is what's guaranteed under the second amendment! This bullshit about "Assault' Rifles" or "Weapons of War" is garbage! So, Joe Biden is the leader of our country. Good leaders should lead by example. Is Joe Biden going to lead by example? Is he going to tell the DOJ to investigate someone who lied on their background check? Investigate someone who left their firearm unsecured. Allowed said firearm to be thrown into a dumpster in a public place by someone who did not go through a background check for that firearm. Is Joe Biden going to allow the DOJ to investigate HUNTER BIDEN? This is the most chilling part. Someone who lied on a background check to purchase a firearm still has access to the White House. Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving, by making it more difficult for sober people to own cars. Criminals follow no laws present or future! New York, Chicago, California has the toughest gun laws and the highest crime rates with firearms because they get them illegally and you can't stop that. 100+ million law abiding gun owners have Semi-Auto rifles sitting in their closets, so why would be change gun laws already in place for the .1-.2% of firearms in this country used for evil when the great majority use them to protect themselves, neighbors from tyrants and criminals. BTW Assault Rifles is BS terminology, Assault rifle” is a term that makes no sense for “assault” is being used as an adjective. This term was generated by the media and adopted by anti-gun senators because the word assault itself gives off a negative connotation in general.
