    I believe Chapelle would reconsider his attitude if he were falsely accused of molestation and "cancelled". Which tends to happen, we're just not allowed to say it. If you're not rich and famous, no one will care about your alleged victims.

    one of the things that Dave is "good at" is appealing to those white folks who are afraid to articulate "race" the way he does. Which is to say, his brutal honesty about racial hypocrisies among whites and blacks, makes them perk up…because they have become accustomed to being tagged as the "inventors of racism", if you will, in this country…and a lot of that thinking is justified among those of us with dark skin.

    But before Dave came along, they had never heard ANYONE point out the reality of racism among black people, the way Dave does. And thats why many of them, pay to go see him perform…and thats why many of them, adore him. And I dont think its about them wanting to be enlightened, as much as its about them believing "ah, at least there's a black man among us, who sees things our way". Which cant be further from the truth, either.
