Emergency Manager for a City is like low level Martial Law. Is it not?

Love how people claim there is no water crisis when I have met people who have fed their babies this water and have been using it themselves (and still did until I made them aware of the issue). It's disgusting that someone would even question if this is true.

What health implications have been identified from drinking and bathing (and watering gardens)Ā in that disgusting water for years? Where in the heck is Erin Brockovich?

The first problem here is leadership thru emails! If your a mayor you need to be a "field general". GET OUT YOUR DAMN OFFICE and visit your communities and workers to find out whats going on in your city.

pleasing the tax dollars from business is more important than the people receiving the benefits from those tax dollars.. no one will get in trouble, as usual

People are upset! People are dying! The overwhelming lack of remorse this guy is showing is so disturbing.

A simple test of the water from the Flint River could have saved them all of this trouble but then that would have taken time and money and culpability…something that this mayor seems to lack.

This interviewer isn't very bright. It doesn't take toxic water to rust metal. It's the oxygen and the water that OXIDIZES the iron and steel. Salt can speed this process up even faster but it has nothing to do with the toxicity of the water.

You people that are not from Michigan just don't know how bad this really is. It's a catastrophic event……….. They need to fire all of these people and throw them out of office. The children are all getting legionnaires disease, it's just horrible.

They say its a water shortage but if you look on the map flint michigan is surrounded by 2 of the biggest lakes in the world the great lakes …freshwater even…What a bunch of bullshit..

Auto industry used to use TONS of lead based parts and materials in the production cars and trucks. Flint Michigan used to be the car capital of America. I agree with the blaming of the Governor, but don't you think you could be looking somewhere else as well??
