   I was a sophomore in high school in March 2005 when a friend of mine whose dad worked at Google sent me an invitation for Gmail. Only like 3 of us in school had it but our teachers would email us homework. And we would email each other. I still use this gmail today and it fun to look up at the photos and other things we would share back in high school.

   I think what made gmail so popular is just the integration with other google services. I remember I had a hotmail email and started using google docs to edit documents in realtime with other users. I ended up having 2 emails but slowly merged over to gmail because I was using it for all these services + email and hotmail was just an email.

   Another reason we had to switch is your internet provider provided email but would change their name and then you had to notify everybody you had a new email address. Painful!!!!! Twice so I learned

    Are a Paying user YouTube Premium and hard go back when no adds and a Great Library in music are In time been just better and better but a bit up to Google Play Music had but are soon there have no adds in YouTube for less than 12$ are actually very much for a low price get 👍

    Miss G+ was best Plays be in and Wish Google Start that up again and Like it Was say think not alone in miss that place was a place so Much better than any other social media was self decide what like be in was Interest in Chose and groups in that came up and that was unique So Sad when close it 😔

    I remember when I was using yahoo mail back in the early 2000s. I have to be mindful of the file size that I sent via email as it will quickly hit the storage limit and force me to pay the premium. Then gmail came along changes everything.

    Umm although I do prefer gmail to any other mailing site or app , outlook is actually good and in workspace some of its features are really good for communicating with employees.
    I feel outlook is underrated.

    I started with yahoo mail in 2004 then switched to gmail in 2008 due to the fact that I had excessive spam in my yahoo inbox

    I used to use Gmail back in the day when I was a kid. That's because they were forced people to use it on their Android OS

    I value the confidentiality of my emails over other things.

    Which google isn't capable of providing as much as Outlook does

    I got my Google account in 2006 and ever since then Google has simplified my life. I can't thank Google enough. And then a couple of years later came Android and Maps and Google became the ultimate assistant even before 'Google Assistant' came out

    Of course, GMail has the dumb idea that you want the newest message in a thread at the bottom instead of at the top. That's why at work we use the GMail Reverser just for that feature.

    I have been using Gmail since it released. One thing I like this is that Google has always improving it and it is the most easy web mail to send email.
