   NY began administering hydroxychloroquine to ALL covid 19 patients around April 5th and 6th in NY. The daily hospitalization rate dropped from an average of 2000 new hospitalized patients a day to about 200 per day 2 days later. That is a gigantic drop!!! Note that daily positive cases remain at 8000 to 10000 a day so the hospitalization drop is clearly due to treatment. The media have been attacking this drug for weeks…they are playing with people's lives and attacking the only effective drug that's available to save lives right now. Thia is not just unethical, they've crossed the line into pure evil.

    New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has connection with China that is why the virus outbreak in his state. When President Trump ordered closing all flights from China To US, Governor Andrew Cuomo was against President order since he thought that was a racist. As a result, 300 flights from China had landed at NY airport after the locked out. Consequently, he earns 4000 body bags from this disaster at of today. For the sake of convenience, please asking China to send more 200,000 body bags to New York for future use.

    If this guy ever ran for Prez, he'd get my vote. He's on point with all of this! Wish Gov Reynolds (Iowa) had the same passion to do what is right. She leaves it up to the counties and cities to have their own rules. Thankfully, my county is relatively sparsely populated (Marshalltown is the main Big Town and the county seat), so we only have 10 cases, and the stores are following proper limited-hours protocols, and the M-town city council just voted to close the parks, which was far too long in coming, IMO. But at least they did it.

    the important thing is " wear face mask", like Taiwan and Hong Kong". they dont need to stop the city and the coronavirus under control.
    limited the people in indoor or supermarket cannot get help for this strong virus.
    More and more new yorkers will be infected until everyone wear the mask on outdoor. This is my experience.

    As much as I want to be optimistic about this, I can't.
    Why?
    Because flattening curves mean NOTHING. What DOES matter is no more people running to the ER, no more docs, nurses, cops, fire fighters, etc having to bust their @$$es to control this thing.
    No more panics at every store everywhere.
    We're not there yet. We are FAR from there.
    The only way to get this done?
    MARTIAL. LAW.
    And this needs to go on for minimum 45 years.

    Blame the CDC for restricting the development of test kits early on and shipping out defective test kits. Also blame the New York Legislature for using CERTIFICATE OF NEED laws, restricting the construction of new hospitals much the way they restricted how many taxi medallions would issue, and how they restrict how many liquor licenses would issue. These laws sheltered hospitals from unwanted competition. When somebody wanted a certificate of need, the existing hospitals could attend the hearing and argue the new hospital is not needed.

    Instead of denying ventilators and CPR to the older endangered population, why not keep a list of the people who are defying the social distancing regulations and if they get sick they don't get a ventilator. I think that would be more fair

    The curve is flattening over the past 2 days because those 2 days are called the WEEKEND!!! A lot of the infrastructure people don't work over the weekend and there is generally a 24 hour reporting delay. It has happened the past 2 weekends (+ this one). Tuesday will be record numbers by far. This sort of false glimmer of hope is dangerous. Even if we get down to 1 patient, we're still at the same count as ground zero for this out-break. People can't change their behavior when we plateau or even on the downward slope. It's not over until the count is zero!!!
