All you need to do is roll do is take a gander at the past two countries that come to mind.Re East Germany ans Cuba both countries have h-ad massive sanctions with noticeable affects but not crippling. And Russia has many more Resources than both of these countries put together.

    The war is probably about greedy people in Russia and in the West wanting trading rights and access to Ukrainian resources. The Ukraine is a political pawn in a chess game .
