Wanna know how I know the average American voter is stupid? All the celebrating here, when they don't realize the house is now a Republican majority. Effectively nothing changed…actually, it's even worse because at least when it was a slim Republican majority in the senate you had a chance for some to vote against party lines. The Republican advantage in the house isn't slim enough to hope for this same outcome.

The way I see it, the Democrat voter base traded freedom for very high heating bills. In my case, the cost of running my “already green” Electric Thermal Storage Heating system went up 50% since May.
