so if home prices crash , basically the loans and mortgages become worthless and you will have defaults everywhere, but if home prices keep rising adding inflating the bubble people still can´t afford homes and that long term will be catastrophic , pain will come regardless.

Xi's priority is…wait for it…Xi. Xi cares about the control and power, that is why China has a command and control economy. The CCP cannot take a back seat to the private sector. You are seeing what is China's priority…power, NOT the private sector and creativity they can make and the wealth they can create. Invest in China at your own risk, this has ALWAYS been the case.

The CCP brutally persecuted, imprisoned and killed people in Hong Kong, Xinjiang, Tibet, … Over the past 30 years, the CCP has stolen technology, copyright, and confidential information through Huawei, ZTE, … and Chinese people living abroad. The CCP 'drinks all the water of the Mekong River in the dry season and floods downstream in the rainy season. The CCP has invaded and seriously threatened 'border invasion' of 13 neighboring States. China is completely screwed. The country is about to get hit with a demographic crunch of historic proportions. 40% of housing in China is EMPTY and propped up with bad loans from unprofitable chinese banks. When the population retires en masse, who is going to buy all of those empty apartments? The housing market will crash and will take the Chinese economy with it. China is Japan 2.0

Great job China. The point of the government is to improve lives of common people, not to make policies beneficial for the rich people portfolios. High real estate prices and expensive education are crushing young people dreams and make them not having kids and families.
