    It’s amusing to see those anti-Taiwan comments. Have the Taiwanese done anything wrong? Is it wrong to protect Taiwanese values and land by voting? Is it wrong because we chose a party that is not pro-China? Do you understand how democracy works in Taiwan? The president doesn’t have full power; we also have legislative power, etc. We are not pro-China or pro-USA; we are simply Taiwan, and we just want to have the right to be Taiwanese

    It's really very funny (deceiving) with Lai's winning statement. Lai had only secured 40% of total votes how can he declared his winning is a victory of democracy (on the contrary it is a defeat of western democracy) ？As usual he continues to deceive the Taiwanese people, he himself and the rest of ignorance people outside Taiwan especially the western societies who know very little or nothing about Taiwan. It will be very challenging task for Lai to manage Taiwan with minority legislature won (51 seats, down from 61 out of the total of 113 seats) and have to count on Ko Wen-Je's white TPP party (Taiwan People's party) in order to gain >50% majority votes. Comparing his predecessor Tsai Ing-wen who won 57% of total votes and majority (61 out of 113 seats) legislative members in 2020 election Lai's result is a whopping 17% drop in total votes and a drop of 10 legislature seats
