AI Stocks Fall as Tech Momentum Fades, US-Iran Talks Stall | Daybreak Europe 6/05/2026
Bloomberg Daybreak Europe is your essential morning viewing to stay ahead. Live from London, we set the agenda for your day, catching you up with overnight markets news from the US and Asia. And we’ll tell you what matters for investors in Europe, giving you insight before trading begins.
US equity-index futures declined along with Asian stocks as enthusiasm for the artificial-intelligence trade cooled after driving markets to record highs this year.
There was no sign of progress in ceasefire talks between the US and Iran after the worst burst of violence in weeks and as the Tehran-backed Hezbollah militia on Thursday rejected a US-brokered truce in Lebanon.
And Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed peace talks to Russian leader Vladimir Putin in a rare and combative open letter, as efforts to end more than four years of war gained momentum.

This war would have been over long ago if we had not gotten involved and no one would be cold. Putin wanted to preserve the infrastructure however we stuck our nose where it didn't belong ONCE AGAIN thus here we are.

Bloomberg Radio, I listen to it most every morning because it’s where Narrative Control for all Corporate Influence Media Networks starts because every single mainstream influence network is owned by the same global banks that control majority shares ownership of everything corporate that matters. That includes the news, the shots called vaccines (Texas banned), the masks, and all devices used to get the information that is allowed to be called “news”…and it’s why Bloomberg won’t talk about the info Elon Musk has released from Twitter about the banning of any discussion of a certain laptop before and during and since the “election deniers” narrative control got started.

So credit suisse gets embroiled in fraud and money laundering, an autocratic billionaire murderer decides to buy its spin off to wash his money and collect data, and even after killing a journalist the USA is fine with him moving his new bank to New York where his family sponsored the worst terror attack in 60 years?
Are you serious, we're all just ok with this entire deal?!
