Hawaii just made history, becoming the first state in the nation to effectively ban dark money in elections. The new law takes a novel approach: rather than trying to restrict corporate speech, it redefines the powers corporations have in the first place — and political spending is not among them. The strategy, known as the “Corporate Power Reset,” was developed by Tom Moore of the Center for American Progress. And at least a dozen states are now working toward passing similar laws.

ALERT: Trump appointees asked cybersecurity agency to SECRETLY HACK voting machine ahead of midterms
According to new reporting from ProPublica, Trump appointees at the Department of Homeland Security wanted the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to hack a voting machine and “report back the findings so they could be given to the White House,” shocking agency staffers. But if you listen to Republicans, his opponent James Talarico is the real monster. “The Atlantic” writer Adam Serwer joins Chris to break down how the right has tried to turn Paxton’s negative qualities into positives by painting real men as jerks and men like Talarico are, well, not men. Serwer argues this Republican strategy has been heavily influenced by the toxic manosphere that’s been brewing in this country. “If we can make men feel insecure about themselves they will adopt right-wing views in order to feel better about themselves,” he says. “And then they will vote Republican.”

Whats the REAL agenda behind to bring back troops? Is it TRUMPET idea to cut cost $ for pentagon? Why not state the TRUTH? Any soldier assign Tour of Duty will have allowance and benefits. Thats extra $ to earn. As for combat vocation you will earn the PRIDE of being a real soldier exposed to put the skill into real time. For sure there will be risk.

After trump destabilized the Syria Turkey region and caused the slaughter of 180,000 Kurdish civilians and handed control of the region to Putin, now before he is dragged in cuffs out of the Whitehouse he is going to do the same with Afganistan. More civilians will be slaughtered as has started with the killing of a young girl in the bombing that trump is responsible for, make sure the world gets him to court to stand trial for war crimes. Let trump know that the white rich privilege that has kept him and his family from being put in jail for all the crimes they have committed for decades has run out.

Konrad Adenauer, the first post war chancellor of Germany had a saying he is kind of (in)famous for: "What scheert mich meen Jeschwätz von Jestern?" Talking about not sharing troop deployment plans were for Trump merely to annoy and demonize his predecessor. If he really meant it he would've remembered.
