   That's because all Americans, conservative or liberal, white or black, will always see Asian people as being outsiders. The fear of yellow peril has never gone away, and other minorities resent us for not having all the same problems as them. They'll swear up and down it isn't because of race, but everyone knows. People repeat the same history time and time again. If it happened to the Japanese, why wouldn't it happen to every other East/Southeast Asian ethnicity.

   America will never truly be a home to Asian people. Better to invest your energy elsewhere.

   I supported trump but after hearing this it’s hard to support someone who points the blame to China hence Chinese Americans since he mentioned nothing about the violent acts or an apology for his bad wording.

    Most of these attacks come from the black community… I remember seeing tons of Asians joining the blm protests and supporting them on other occassions too, and this is how they get treated in return. It's honestly really tough to defend the black community in the US.

    Anti-chinese sentiment has been around the USA since the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882. Asians are just one of the many scapegoats for politicians to blame for US problems.

    US democracy doesn't represent the interests of Asian Americans at all.
