Trent Garmon went on to insult Don Lemon in a way that was as close as he could get to calling Lemon "boy." Garmon is a repulsive puddle of sleaze.

I'm so glad you people are all going to avoid Alabama. People with minds this sick please stay away. I will vote Roy Moore.

  24. @dietlamp

    January 19, 2024 at 8:09 am

It’s because Ali is brown. That’s why this Alabama lawyer brought up his background. He’s trying to justify his argument by bringing up his ethnicity. What a racist pig.

Moore would ask permission from the mother before dating a 35-year-old woman?!? Did he really say that?

  29. @dontbetonit813

    January 19, 2024 at 8:09 am

I'm from Canada our culture is not the same as Alabama's. If that was the point he was trying to make.

  30. @jjsc4396

    January 19, 2024 at 8:09 am

I'm not really sure how the state of Alabama sees itself, or whether it has concerns about its image. But, this Moore episode, including this clown-show lawyer who can't even speak for 5 min without making himself and his presumed client appear appallingly racist, paint a dystopian picture of what's considered generally acceptable in that state.
I'm sure there are "fine people" in Alabama. But whether they're Trump kind of "fine people" with confederate flags, tiki torches and swastikas; or more reasoned, less racist, less bigoted, less….well, there must be LESS of them than the aforementioned fine types as Alabama's about as deep red as Crimson. And about to likely elect a bible-thumping weirdo who was elected a JUDGE in their state who couldn't discern age of consent.

    January 19, 2024 at 8:09 am

Ruhle: Would you let a 30y/o date your 14y/o daughter?
Garmon: I would say no. She's already got a daddy.

Jen Psaki discusses with Senator Amy Klobuchar, Democratic candidate for governor of Minnesota.
