We may well still win the political victory, but those of us who were hoping for a moral and intellectual victory over the corruption and lies of Trumpism are very disappointed that tonight was not a complete repudiation of a con man who has surrounded himself with criminals. We have to ask ourselves, who are we sharing this country with? Who would knowingly support such a monster as Trump?
