Data Center Firm Elice Flops on Debut & Merz’s Russia Warning
Bloomberg Daybreak Europe is your essential morning viewing to stay ahead. Live from Brussels, we set the agenda for your day, catching you up with overnight markets news from the US and Asia. And we’ll tell you what matters for investors in Europe, giving you insight before trading begins.
On today’s show, AI jitters returned after the Korean data center firm Elice flopped on its stock market debut. Shares fell as much as 35% after its IPO, which raised $151 million.
Bloomberg has learnt that the AI cloud computing firm Nscale is in talks to sell computing power to Anthropic, in a deal that could be worth about $45 billion.
The German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has warned against complacency over the dangers posed by Russia, saying that President Putin is seeking to undermine democracy in Europe.
And tougher security measures, including an 11pm curfew in some parts of Paris and other cities, appear to have quelled violent protests in France for now. But unions have called for a strike next month, with more demonstrations planned for this Saturday.
Today’s guest: Ana Boata, Allianz Trade, Head of Economic Research

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Bloomberg’s Jennifer Zabasajja, Aliko Dangote’s daughter says the growth is going to come mainly from the company’s “refinery, fertilizer and cement” businesses.

Great content, I feel those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in space in general or probably just naïve, the sphere have seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, I'd say that more emphasis should be put into trading since it is way profitable than holding. Trading went smooth for me as I was able to raise over 10.2 BTC when I started at 3.5 BTC in just few weeks implementing trades with signals and insights from Samy Dominic. I would advise y’all to trade your asset rather than hold for a future you aren't sure about….

As much inflation as there is that's coming , there's no chance of keeping it under 3%. America can handle 15% (like where having right now). As of 1983 US reports about 55% of the truth. So add for that. To pretend we're going to get less is going to be the problem. People say they don't like it , but no one wants to cure inflation at their own expense. (That seems the be the way of America). People say " we don't like higher prices", but they don't mind it as much while wages go up the same way. Just push for higher wages to go up fast , and then inflate away ( I mean they're doing it anyway , so we should not act like it might not happen). Damage comes from inflating and trying to stop it at the same time. That will only put many out of work. Those same poor that wanted prices to go back down , didn't want that outcome by pushing those poor into the streets. Because that's what's going to happen, right along with the prices won't go back down anyway. Just them become homeless .

<Great Video! But I made my first million through trading stocks and inves-ting as a beginner but assisted by an expert obviously; Elizabeth Ernst David. We met at a trading conference and I looked her up online thereafter. Bottom line, she agreed to guide me and I've had no cause to regret ever since.

Is it true that the US did sell 4 times than the market cap? I think they are only using the market price against Saudi and Russia but they themselves can sell 4 times sometimes 10 times from it.
