   I get what she’s saying screw Norma. Gave them a chance of living by giving them away!! I guess the woman didn’t want her from day one and saw to it all her kids weren’t with her. This was an interesting historical information piece

   The reason I'm pro choice is because I myself don't have to get an abortion, but I wish for women to have the choice on the matter. I have no idea what any woman is going through, and I won't speak about their situation because I don't know what her situation is. They deserve to choose what's best for them for their body, mental health, and financial well-being.

   Being "pro life" means you don't let anybody have the choice no matter what situation they're in. That just doesn’t sit well with me. I've also noticed they're very dismissive towards the woman carrying the pregnancy and don't care what she is going through. They just want her to give birth, which birth is very traumatic especially when forced to do so. Women could have emetophobia, tokophobia, or be in danger with their abusive spouse. Pregnancy is also very demanding on the body and changes it forever.

   I simply believe it should be her choice, and I won't speak on anyone's situation because it's not my place

   Sad that women are controlled by supreme court… now women cannot have lifesaving medical care … rapes are never really ended in justice… women have the try to heal themselves or they have to be raped by the justice system which usually ends in NO JUSTICE. Also women cannot have lifesaving care because doctors are afraid of the justice system. Gotta control these women. Rapists have all the rights.

    I hear the argument from the forced-birthers, “What if your mother had an abortion instead of having you.” My answer is that that would have been perfectly fine. I wouldn’t know or care, obviously, if I’d never existed as a thinking, living, breathing person. If it would’ve been better for my mom, who was a living, breathing, amazing, loving, vibrant, remarkable woman, that I never existed, then that’s what I would want. I loved her too much to want to cause her hurt in any way, shape, or form. Ever. But I was a planned pregnancy. My mom decided (with her husband and my dad) what was best for her was to bring me into the world. I was wanted and it showed in all the love and care I got growing up.

    But some of her accounts are not to be believed. In 1969, 21-year-old Norma became pregnant for the third time and wanted to have the baby killed. But Texas law prohibited abortions except in certain cases. So she claimed she had been raped by a group of black men. This ploy failed, due to lack of police evidence. An attempt to get an illegal abortion also failed.

    This is Where it all started. A White Woman telling people black folks raped her. Many years ago how do you get a law passed? Racism…

    I can not believe these people. You can see that God is absent in their lives. It is all about me…me..me..me..In the end, life is only 70 to 90 years on earth, God's judgement is eternal.     Well done interview and respectful , with the exception of the interviewer calling her out on the cross jewelry as "a message". Im sure one of the producers saw the cross and they timed that question to try and make it a subliminal effort for a bit of drama. Her reaction was a little surprised, but, handled it well. Ton of respect to her. I was adopted in 1967 and so very thankful for my parents, i have had an amazing life. The maternal side of the birth mother ran an orphanage, a small town in Maine, however, forced the maternal mother into the unwed mothers society….interesting dynamic. If this had happened in the mid 70's highly likely i would have been aborted. Mixed up world we live it.

    Wow, this interviewer kinda crossed a line pointing out her cross. She specifically said she didn’t want to give her opinion and this woman questions her religion and values. Shameful. People who think murder is ok show no shame in pushing their opinion on others.
