   I think the civilian death toll is far higher than we are hearing. The level of destruction from intentional targeting of civilian areas is staggering. I can only pray Ukraine will be victorious.

   I stumbled onto some old Korean Era 1950 songs of my childhood. “Kill Russians and Kill North Koreans.” Has a familiar ring to it. Putin is insane and will continue to expand his evil dream if we don’t stop him now. You and your grand kids will be fighting and dying to stop them for decades. Even China wants to get into the evil take over the World soulless game. Remember they will tell you to your face that they have no such thing as a Mortal soul and they will kill anyone if they want something they believe they are entitled because they are so refined and adept at grooming civilization.    Ukraine should be thankful that it's not the USA invading. 2003 March 19 to April 30 up to 15000 Iraqi dead 4300 civilian non combatants. Don't think that any war time aggressor will ever out kill USA

   They are not civilians, the civilians are leaving the country . Forget civilians who live in Ukraine you know many thousands of men have volunteered to fight in Russia .
   Many uk and us soldiers are fighting on the Ukrainian side .

   They are not civilians, im sorry but once you pick up a rifle and start making molotov cocktails you are a combatant and your death is legitimate.

    Long ago the oligarchs investors on the war machine of NATO devised a sociopathic plan, that of FRATICE, to brain wash Ukranians to kill Russians and Vice-versa…. doing this way the sociopaths avoided any blame and the whole world of intelligent individuals turned mega idiots supporting their plan …the death in Ukraine is the result of the this sociopaths of NATO, instructing their puppet Zelenskyy to undemocratically impose our ukrainan brothers and sisters with dying defending the investments of these sociopaths from abroad not only that …. the weapons that NATO provides our brothers and sisters of Ukraine with are no gifts, these weapons are sales, not only that, these NATO weapons are paid with Russian confiscated cash …. it is a vicious malicious plan ….. when an area is going to be in the path of a hurricane the local authorities instruct all to immediately evacuate and to come back soon after the hurricane has passed, come back to their homes if homes remain but Zelenskyy is a traitor of his own brothers and sisters and did not tell his civilians to evacuate on the contrary he was instructed to say all that he have said including a call for WW3, Zelenskyy is no heroe, Zelenskyy is a criminal, and so criminal are those that support Zelenskyy….. but why NATO have always wanted Russia and all the assets that Russians have? Because Russia has 6,000 nukes necessary to check mate our chinese brothers and sisters and our African brothers and sisters and the whole world would be their investments…. but why all the propaganda against Russia? Because if intelligent people around the world knew their malicious plan then the streets of democracies would be filled with revolting demonstrations …. Russia could have done the same thing that was done to Hiroshima and Nagasaki but Russia cannot because Russia considers Ukranians their own brothers and sisters and cannot use Russias might on civilians and continue to wait for Zelenskyy but Zelenskyy is sold, so are most blood thristy individuals around the world ….     No surprise! Manpads supplied by the West increases russian casualties and Russia is then globally ridiculed for too rapidly having a very high number of casualties. Manpads forces Russia using more missiles and artillery, increasing collateral damage. West causes death behind the curtain.

    Obviously Russia's invasion of Ukraine is not right, but part of the blame also lies with the USA and NATO.
    
    All this start for ignoring Russia's requests for a long time.
    
    USA politicians are liars and hypocrites.
    
    They were just harassing for a long time for Ukraine to go against Russia and in the end they left Ukraine alone.
    
    The USA only messes with countries that are small in territory and militarily weak.
    
    Throughout history the USA and NATO members have invaded and/or bombed countries and killed children, women and civilians alike, and the US and Western media have not made a big deal out of it.
    
    What sanctions has the United States received when it has invaded and killed civilians along with women and children?

    Vietnam [1960] 500,000 dead.
    
    Yugoslavia [1998] 5,700 dead.
    
    Afghanistan [2001] 111,000 dead.
    
    Iraq [2005] 44,000 dead.
    
    Syria [2011] 22,000 dead.
    
    Libya [2011] 150,000 dead.

    Thousands and thousands of civilians were killed including women and children and they had absolutely nothing to do with the war.

    Wow, Arnold's statement was well thought out and well said!

    Sometimes we in the US tend to be a bit arrogant. If a country doesn't want to take a stand, on either side, that is kind of their business. We really aren't the protocol police of the world. And while we're being all high and mighty and righteously justified we might want to remember that European Americans, our ancestors on NA, brutally wiped upwards of an estimated 50 million native people off of this continent, so there's that. My guess is we more or less hold the record there.

    Those actions included biological weapons, blankets given to the native tribes filled with smallpox, to which the natives had no resistance. And they had that problem due to something stupid they'd done, wiping many species of animals off the continent. Yes, not current history, and it was a different time and thinking, but still. I'm not justifying Pootie, AT ALL. I'm just speaking to the 'speak out, our way or the highway' attitude…either you're with us or your against us. There is another stance available there, and a whole slew of gray. And countries are allowed to disagree, right or wrong.

    That said, I am very happy that we are FINALLY sending real aid to Ukraine. I know a few of them, as people I met and talked to for a while, and they struck me as a loving and caring people. I have a friend that started Music Mission Kyiv a few decades back (it still exists, now run exclusively by Ukrainians, which probably tickles him pink) and he was quite adamant that he thought they were some of the most caring people he'd ever met, if not the most.

    The one's who had little to nothing, and that was the majority of them then, still offered food and drink and occasional gifts they couldn't afford to people far more affluent than themselves. Roger speculated that part of the reason might be that since they have so little, by comparison, real life becomes more important to them. In any case he loved them, he stayed over there for a couple of decades, IIR the dates correctly…I suck with dates.

    It is now pretty obvious that when you back them into a corner, attacking their lives to attempt genocide, as well as their culture and property, they can be damned fierce, too. Drive those invaders OUT, or into the ground! Pootie is a waste of skin wrapped around human excrement, that needs to be ended sooner, rather than later IMHO, not that it matters. And so as you don't get the wrong idea from the opening paragraphs, I'm just pointing out something to think about.

    Biden's recent speech says it all:

    "our assistance package includes 9,000 anti-armor systems…guns, shotguns, grenade launchers to equip the Ukrainians, including the brave women and men who are defending their cities as civilians and they're on the countryside as well."

    This is basically an admission that "civilians" are operating as armed combatants. On top of this, Zelenskyy has forced all male civilians to remain in the war-torn country and to fight, which is supplemented with so-called "foreign volunteers."
