   This is incredibly sad. Because I’m a fully bilingual person and know two completely different languages…and I even know the words “medication” or “injuries”. I learned these words much younger than her already knowing these words in Japanese which is my mother tongue, maybe when I was 7. This is unbelievably sad. The opportunity she was robbed by her parents whose only interest was to starve and chain them up…it’s horrible, or what other words should I use, there’s just no other words to express how horrific their childhood must have been. 😢 I’m so glad she was able to escape the prison and police was able to find them finally. These evil parents even looked strange. They looked like drug addicts or homeless. Except they lived in a home. How can they bring their own children into this world and not love them, teach words or educate them. Absolutely heartbreaking…💔

   These are not sooo old movies. And at this time, when we saw these movies the first time, they were imprisoned 😞

    the cop initially is skeptical of her story because of the way she sounds and the fact that she ran away from home, which most kids due to rebellion, not because of great trauma like this. his experience worked against him until he saw her evidence.

    The fact she doesn’t know medication, sidewalks, injuries, etc. is so sad. It’s like a horror movie or something, but it’s all those kids’ lives.

    I hope that Police officer learned something from this. Everyone praises him BUT in OTHER VIDEOS, even after he seen pictures of the little girls dirty, pale, & in chains, & Jordan not knowing what "medication or Injuries" were, & Jordan telling him that, at 17, she has never been outside, never talked to/been alone with a person before, & consistently Non-Stop expressing her fear/terror.
    The officer, once in the police car, still has quite a lengthy grilling session where you can clearly hear him still not believing Jordan & sounding quite agitated etc. 20/20 does a really good job at editing all of that out of this video, sadly. There are other videos on the internet that show more of the questioning. In his interview the officer says after seeing the pics "that sealed the deal", Liar😅 Search Jordan Turpin there are other videos that show more of the grilling. Not just further questioning, there's a lot of frustration and a lot more aggression behind his questions. Not sure why 20/20 edited all of that out, must've been some narrative though. We're victims of the media/journalism anyway, most times you don't know what the narrative is or the true facts unless you do in-depth research and most times no one has time for that.
    But, If I asked you to show me pics & you show me pics of little girls chained, dirty, pale I WON'T HAVE TO GRILL YOU MUCH AFTER THAT I PROMISE! … I'll still have questions, but I will no longer treat this as a fake 911 runaway suspicion suspect call …I will instead make you feel safe, like you have been saved.
    …and I've worked graveyard shift for the past 5 yrs straight so let's not try n use that one either. He seems like a good guy don't get me wrong, but I bet if he knew then what he knows now it would have went a whole different way. Jordan is the only hero here

    I honestly thought she did a pretty damn good job communicating, given her situation at home. What makes me angry, was to find out that once they got out of that screwed up situation, the state failed them just as bad.

    Imagine if she didn't have pictures. He would've probably taken her back to the house, the weirdo parents would've manipulated him and he would've left. all because he's taking SERIOUS calls for help with a biased mindset based upon previous incidences smfh. I don't like how they glossed over that… like who gives a damn if you had a long night and that's your last call…you're a COP.. that's your JOB..

    that part just really bothered me… we shouldn't have officers responding to calls with a fixed mindset based upon pre-concieved notions… but we got a lot of officers doing things they shouldn't these days..
